What happens next?
She retires to bed
"I really should practice more," Cynder replied but was cut off by a long yawn, "But... I suppose I have enough for one day." Slowly the pair walked out of the temple and across the lawn to the dorm rooms for the young dragons at the school. Along the way Cynder felt a b it more lethargic than she would have guessed. Though she hardly realized part of the reason was her rear legs and rump had begun to thicken ever so slightly.
That night Ember lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. She was fighting with her emotions. She was genuinely concerned for Cynder, but it appears that it had developed a little bigger than that. It couldn't possibly love, could it? She liked males, but every time Ember looked at Cynder her heart skipped a beat.
