a treasure trove and hidden truth

The group was cautious through he tower worried about traps but managed to make it to the Uzukage's office. the group started to search the office but failed to find much. they were about to give up when Naruko gave her self a cut from moving one of the paintings to look behind it. a drop of blood fell to the floor activating a seal.

"what is this," Karin asks.

"I don't know but lets get out of here," said Guren. the group tried to get out of the room but before they could leave the seal teleported them to another location.

"where are we," asked Sasuke. he started to look around and what he saw caused his eyes to widen.

"Wow," said Guren seeing the same thing as Sasuke. the room was filled with gold, jewelry, scrolls and more. "we are going to need bigger scrolls."

"you think," said Karin. "this must be why we didn't find much in the village it was all here."

"there must of been a seal that would transport it all here if the village was attacked," said Naruko in wonder. "and only an Uzumaki can get to it," she said holding up her still bleeding hand.

"Well lets separate it into category and start collecting all of it. Naruko you focus on the scrolls, Sasuke you got the gold, Karin work on the jewelry, and ill grab any weapons i see." said Guren as she left o look for weapons.

doing as ordered the group got to work sealing away everything they could. as they were doing this Naruko found a letter and started to read it. as she read it she froze in shock. after standing still for a minute Sasuke notices and walks over to Naruko.

"hey dope what's up," asked Sasuke.

"they betrayed them," was all she said.

"what," asked Sasuke in confusion. Naruko just handed him the letter while she sat down in one of the chairs. this caused Sasuke to look at the letter. what he read caused his own eyebrow to raise.

I'm glad that our clan was not wiped out by our enemies. while our village may fall our Uzumaki will live on through you and other survivors. but be warned that those you may see as allies are not. the enemy managed to get passed our barriers through secret holes we had in our barriers. the only people who knew of this outside of the Uzumaki was Konoha.

There is no way the enemy found this by luck and the timing of us sending Kushina to become the new Jinchuriki and the attack is to big of a coincidence. they have there container so they don't see a reason to keep us around. of course the main piece of evidence is that i saw with my own two eyes ANBU with white masks that bore the Symbol of Konoha attempting to steal from out treasury. unfortunately for them they did not know the true location that you now stand in.

live on Uzumaki and make sure you show them that the whirling tide will never end not even through acts of betrayal.

"yeah," she said as she went back to work still shaken from the letter. while she may now hate Konoha finding out they where behind the destruction of her clan still shook her. unknown to her Sasuke started to have a few questions of his own about his own family massacre.

"oh wow look at this," said Naruko suddenly. this caused the group to look and see what she found.
