Amber is first

"Amber Wright." Miss Cooper called out after pulling out a piece of paper and sat on the edge of her desk.

Clutching my papers in my hands I nervously made my way to the front of class. Without me realising it my skirt had snagged on my desk as I walked up and created a small tear.

I stood at the front of class, 20 pairs of eyes staring back at me and closed my eyes and took a couple deep breaths.

"Whenever you're ready?" Miss said while she held the hat in her lap.

Miraculously, my nerves didn't hold me back as much as I'd originally thought, sure I stuttered a few times and mixed up my words and was doing a fine until, my skirt dropped to the ground.
