Darcy and Morro's Dilemma

"Agh. Did you say, Aerodactyl...?!" Jackal asks as he sits back up on his rear, rubbing the back of his head from his landing. The Sandshrew nods her own head in response. In fact, you take the moment to just examine your two new acquaintances starting with the Sandshrew first. She was a bit of a chubby one, with thick arms, thighs, a short tail, and sports two large globular breasts which reveal the greyish brown nipples without any covering to hide themselves from, but in your world its unnecessary to anyway. Her belly was the most impressive feature to you somehow though. It booms out, hanging out in such prideful plushness and girth. Her underbelly parts appear so soft and comfortable to where they feel even better since you got a hint of a feel for a moment from your accidental entrance. You didn't know why, but you had no fascinations to bellies before this whole epidemic; maybe it was messing with your head enough or maybe there was something to it about the infection. You aren't sure and brush the thought away once the Sandshrew returns her chat.

"Well, we've had that fella around this canyon for what...a few months, Morro?" The desert rodent asks. Morro, being the Golem from what you've gathered, hesitates and finally answers while rubbing his jaw to contemplate, "Yeah, I'd say about four months it's lived here."

The Sandshrew continues, "That infected grey lizard has been using this canyon for its hunting grounds. Every day it comes by, sweeping one of our kind up and carrying the poor fellas off to its nest! It just doesn't know when to quit! There's barely anyone left in our town anymore, if that's what ya wanna call it still. A tomb sounds more like it. Hmph." Her resistant tone really shown through to you from her frustration with this thing. And you thought it took a horde of infected to ruin a whole town.

Morro steps up to wrap an arm around the Sandshrew, "My wife and I only travel outside for a matter of minutes, because we live in fear of that...giant! It's like it's always out there, patiently waiting for us to join the fate of our neighbors."

Yikes, you thought how it must have been hard to search for food in such conditions, especially when living in a canyon, but a monster whose whole purpose is to eat you is right at your front door every day, something like that seems like it could really screw you over. You're surprised that this couple didn't bother eating you in the first place for food. It was still urgent to get to the Toxicroak in the swamp, but you aren't going to make any form of distance with that Aerodactyl there. You needed to take care of it first before moving on. The way they describe it, you wonder if it's another Dynamaxed infected.

The Sandshrew crosses her arms, retorting, "We used to have a wonderful town in this small divide of cliffs. Little did we know that a ginormous dragon would destroy everything and run everyone outta of town with their lives or end up in that...mouth of its...Hun, anyone who hasn't run away from this patch of canyons and has managed not to get caught by that monster live underground or in the rock walls in complete fear. This is no longer living! We're just desperately surviving and herded like livestock for it!" Her voice flares out in anger from her statement. You happily interrupt her rant.

"I'll stop it." You say. The Sandshrew and Golem then look at you with wide eyes, taken back from the sudden suggestion. Even Jackal is very surprised. "If you can show me where this Aerodactyl rests, I'll try to stop it if I can."

The Golem begins to laugh out uncontrollably. "Whaaaaaaaaat?!" Morro madly cackles out. "Stop the Aerodactyl by-by-bahahaaahhh-by yourself?! Heh, I know you want to get rid of the thing just as much as we do, but do you know how huge and fast that thing is? It's probably twice your size! The only thing you could to harm it was to give indigestion as you boil inside its belly!" He bursts out his loud laughter more before the Sandshrew slaps the backside of his head, silencing him.

"Well at least someone is wantin' to do somethin', unlike some of us." She implies to him, putting the emphasis towards Morro. Although, she quickly sighs and sulks as she turns to face you. "But, he is right when it comes to you getting eaten...or worse..." She shivers with disgust as the images of how the Aerodactyl could 'play' with you for its pleasure.

She holds up a hand, raising it to you, "I'm Darcy. It's a pleasure to see a friendly face in these parts again, even if they have a **** wish." You shake Darcy's hand, returning the favor.

"I'm Lace, and this is my partner Jack." You point to the Typhlosion, getting an angry huff in response. "We're traveling the land, searching for a way to stop the infection. We were on our way to a swamp to find someone that may be of some help until...well you know the rest." Darcy's eyes didn't seem to be shocked to hear about your quest.

"Well that's no surprise to me. You're not the first one to come through here, sayin' the same thing." She says as she shrugs her shoulders in disappointment.

This worriedly bewildered Jackal. "You mean...there were others before us...?" You could hear a loud bellowing gulp of fear travel down his throat.

"Of course!" Darcy answers, "Did you think no one knows about the sickness? Plenty of people are trying to stop it! The only ones that pass through here all mention about hearin' this frog in the swamp that could help, only till they then disappear within a few hours here at this canyon when they go back out."

Jackal starts to quiver nervously, "You mean they get..."

"Eaten." Morro replies with sinister eyes and a devilish smile. Jackal's face whitens up pale, seemingly to look like he wanted to throw up immediately, but you cared less; you were good at improvising, and there was no way of turning around now.

"I've handled large flying infected before, I'm pretty sure I could do it again." You courageously say. Did you have any bit of fear? Absolutely. When you were attacked by the Fearow, you just got lucky as it hit a rock wall. Yet, could you be able to do it again with this feral now...? "Just point me in the direction of its nest, and I'll see what I can do for you two."

What's next?
