Chapter 7
by NoobLube
What's next?
“What’s the take?” After all, you can’t send someone to hunt down a deadly Sorceror without some kind of gain.
She appears to have anticipated this entirely and beckons a trooper over with a camtono, of course it’s only what made sense, you don’t ask a hunter to bring you meat without paying for their time and effort. The soldier is far more professional than the nerf-herder you were met with at first.
With a quick input of the right combination, basic but efficient. The trooper twists the top and reveals within a trove of credits, Imperial credits on one end stacked tall and on the other was practically a mirror. You could estimate easily around twenty-eight thousand credits in short, Empire Credits.
“Thirty thousand if you bring him in dead, the price raises considerably if you bring him in alive, and includes anything you learn about these... rebels.” Although the woman had shown you hospitality before, her tone tells you enough that there’s no room for negotiation here. But that price was roughly enough to get yourself a Ghtroc 580 light freighter, if you spent a little more you could probably upgrade the hull too.
While a new ship was out of mind for the moment, you knew there was at least something you could do with the excess credits. Supplies for your tribe, or maybe if you asked the armourer kindly they could fashion something respectable for you.
“How much considerably,” You felt the need to ask, “If I looked to sharing with you a list of his co-conspirators, or uncovered a terrorist plot. How would I be rewarded?”
The woman holds your attention for a second longer, as if trying to gauge your response before she nods approvingly. “I won’t be able to pay you short notice, but depending on what you uncover. I will instead pay you in ingots of iron, Ori’jate koor, nayc?”
Was this woman a Mandalorian, a long time ago? Just how much of your culture, your customs and language did she know?
“An excellent deal, no?”
Mandalorian’s Ties
A new foe and an ancient order of enemies, will you conquer them all like Mandalore the Great, or did you just want to enjoy your drink?
With a blaster without a master, you tackle on the role of a Bounty Hunter. It’s a complicated profession, especially when you must abide a set of codes to protect your family. But not all foes must be enemies, as a powerful woman approaches you with a tempting offer. Will you have what it takes to remind the Galaxy, that all Legends have a shred of truth in them?
