Momo introduces you

You watch for a bit with Fuuzoku as Momo seemingly fails to notice her phone ringing, enraptured in conversation as she is, you can’t really blame her. Just as you begin to ponder what to do next, Fuuzoku decides to honk the horn, waving at the trio as they spin around The blonde one now looks even angrier before faltering back to what appears to be his neutral expression...and it isn’t that different from before if you’re being honest. Wait a second, isn’t he that hero that causes huge explosions?

As Momo notices you two, she visibly brightens up, giddily telling the two something before all three of them start walking over. You roll down your window as Momo arrives, finishing up whatever idle chat she was having with the pair, managing to catch the tail end of it as the human cotton ball starts talking.

“Look, all I’m saying is that Mineta winding up in a scandal like that isn’t exactly surprising-“

“Oh be quiet Bakugo, he’s still our friend.” Pink girl says

“Is he though? I don’t seem to recall the bastard ever actually asking someone’s permission...” Bakugo says, staring pointedly at his...you assume acquaintance.

Momo chooses this moment to speak up. “Hey guys, this is the new friend I was telling you two about! Ren; Fuuzoku, this is Mina and Bakugo, guys, Ren and Fuuzoku.” You manage to start to say hello just before Bakugo completely steamrolls your response. Okay, rude.

“So, this is him, huh? He doesn’t look like much...”

“Bakugo!” Mina exclaims before peaking her head into the car window. “Sorry for my friend, he’s pretty blunt...Momo says you’re a pretty cool guy despite some ‘mysterious quirk...’” she waves her hands while saying this, “that she won’t say anything about. How did you two meet anyways?”

“It’s uh...I-I got taken hostage and she saved me. Some petty crook had grabbed me and sent me flying halfway across town. Near died from the fall alone before she grabbed me. She made a bunch of pillows and saved us both.” You explain, flushing slightly as you recall what other pillows you witnessed after the fall... Fortunately nobody appears to notice.

“So Momo had to let the guy get away to save someone...what a surprise.” Bakugo says, monotone sarcasm evident in his statement.

“BAKUGO!!!” Mina shouts, almost making you wince at her volume. “Anyways, it’s nice to meet you. Here’s hoping we meet again!” She says while...reaching for your hand. You instinctively pull back as she reaches, leading her hand to grab your leg instead, but even that is enough. Momo can only look on in horror as Bakugo’s eyes widen in shock and blood drips from his nose at the sight unfolding before them.
