Chapter 3

who's the focus of the story?
Rachel and Carys.
Rachel, the youngest and most attractive desk girl of the hotel, had always prided herself on her charisma and positive attitude. she knew all the customers at the hotel by name and was always there to help anyone who needed it. her bubbly attitude was something that rubbed off on others and kept the desk staff motivated had cheery during the day.
Carys had been at the hotel for 5 years when Rachel started. she'd been given the responsibility of training Rachel, and they had formed a close bond. Carys decided to take Rachel under her wing after discovering that she was very far from home. they shared a room on the 6th floor and always enjoyed each others company.
they both agreed to the nude worker's scheme, and were more than willing to get their kit off. however, it soon dawned on the pair that this wasn't just a bit of fun. they actually had to work like this. people would see them. they sat down at their desks, which were in a side room of the desk area. they were responsible for dealing with room calls, so they were out of the way of everyone else. they had the blind pulled down to hide from the others. "god, it's a little chilly" carys remarked, shivering a little. "I know, but we'll get used to it" carys flashed Rachel a warm smile, and giggled. "look at us both," she remarked, "sat here in the office butt naked." they both laughed, and made light of their situation. "it's not all bad. at least we don't have to look at the customers." Rachel exclaimed. carys nodded. they both got their work done, and carys got up from her seat. "don't see why I need these." she remarked, taking off her scarf, stockings and shoes. she stood there for a moment, her entire body on show. Rachel whistled, which made carys laugh. "shut up you." she replied, sitting back down at her desk. Rachel looked down at her minimal outfit, and stood up too. "think I might join you" she exclaimed and shed the rest of her clothes. she sat down and stretched. carys smiled. "that's the spirit." she remarked, stuffing her clothes into her bag. "want me to pack yours away?" "please" Rachel replied, and carys stuffed the girl's clothes into her bag. carys sat back down and smiled.
some time passed, and carys wheeled her chair over to rachel. "reckon we should try and convince the others?" carys asked. rachel shook her head. "just our little thing" she replied, flashing carys a wink. carys nodded, and looked over rachel's screen. "i reckon we're done here." rachel exclaimed, shutting her computer off and rising from her chair. "off we go then" carys added. they grabbed their bags, and made their way to the lifts. lindsey stared at them wide-eyed. "like our get-up?" carys exclaimed. lindsey shot her a thumbs up and a smile, which made the two girls laugh. they got into the lift, and sighed. "hey, this ain't all bad kiddo" carys remarked, adjusting her bag strap. "yeah. you don't look so bad y'know." carys blushed, rubbing the back of her head. "says you, you little stunner." rachel smiled, and puffed her chest out. carys giggled, and the lift ground to a stop. "right, ready?" rachel nodded, and pulled her key out of her bag. they slowly stepped out of the lift, looked both ways, and tiptoed over to their room. rachel unlocked the door, and they scurried into their room. carys had to cover her mouth to stop from laughing out loud, and the two of them dropped their stuff onto their beds.
"you ready to cover up yet?" carys asked. rachel shook her head, and hung her bag on the door hook. carys did the same, and stretched. "what did you have in mind kiddo?" rachel chuckled. "dunno, just something we can do that doesn't require clothes or public exposure." carys laughed, and flicked the kettle on. "brew on the balcony?" "sounds good" rachel replied, placing two chairs and a table on the balcony. she flicked the latch so the door wouldn't lock, and carys stepped out onto the cold balcony with two mugs of tea. she placed them on the table, and sunk into the chair. "ah, that's better" she remarked. rachel grabbed her mug, and sipped. "there's something relaxing about sitting on the balcony, moon shining down, waves crashing against the seafront." they looked at each other, and smiled. "yeah, definitely. maybe we should give up clothes for good." rachel snorted. "not quite. how about..." she thought for a moment. "we only wear clothes when we need to? y'know, shopping and days out." carys raised her mug, and clinked it against Rachel's. "and deal!" she exclaimed. they finished their drinks, and went back inside. they placed all their clothes in their wardrobes, locked them, and settled in their beds. "you sure about this? you can back out if you want to" rachel shook her head. "nah, this is too good to turn down." she smiled, and they both drifted off to sleep.
