Slam the door shut!

Realizing the futility of fighting such a powerful-looking creature, Marie quickly accessed the door controls and slammed the bedroom door shut before it could reach her. Its hideous wail echoed throughout the hall as it noticed the door shutting, but was unable to ultimately reach the buxom milf. Silently thanking the controls still working, Marie slumped down against the wall, the creature beyond it attempting to scratch at the wall separating them. No doubt the monster was at one time a pet of the late Captain, now turned into a horrifying flesh creature. This alien infection apparently spared no creatures, and Marie was scared to know if this particular ship had even more animals on it.

The toll of the recent fighting was starting to take down Marie's stamina, and it was showing in her resolve. Her RIGs automated warnings perked up, letting her know that her brain was showing signs of fatigue. Unable to reach Samson or any of the others, Marie's eyes grew heavier and heavier as she leaned against the wall. The scratching from beyond seemingly finished, and Marie continued to fall deeper and deeper into her fatigue. Before she could fight off the sleeping spell that had been cast upon her, she relented and drifted off.

"Marie...."

The voice was sweet and low, almost like honey.

"Marie.... Wake up..."

Jane? Her sister's voice was slowly pulling her out of the sleep she had been enjoying, though she could not see her.

"Find me... Please..."

Finally awake enough to understand who in fact was speaking, Marie jumped off from her leaning position fully upright. Armed with her blade and ready to fight anything, Marie searched frantically across the room for her missing sister.

"Jane?!" the young engineer screamed, knowing she would hear nothing back but silence. The eerie stillness of the ship itself was now mocking her it seemed, and Marie's voice broke into a small cry. Not a single crew-member had been sighted since they arrived, and her hope that her sister was still alive dwindled with each passing battle.

"Marie? You alive?"

Samson's voice crackled through the comm, barely audible against the background noise. It was nice to hear from him, and Marie's concentration was brought forward once again.

"I'm here Sir..." She wouldn't let them hear the creeping depression in her voice for now, knowing that her crew needed her alert and battle-ready.
