You Can't Wait!

You sit around, waiting for Stewart and Wayne to gear up... There had to be something you could do to help the girls. If he hadn't already, Hades would soon enslave Harley and Diana again! You felt Flash's essence and Batman's as their transparent forms overlapped each other with your body. You then wasted no time, literally in typing faster than humanly possible and used your new focus to gather data on the girls. For weaknesses, so that you can immobilize them or render them ****.

With the speed of a cheetah, your typing fingers are a blur as you open and close different files on the JL members. With not much to go on from the Watchtower database, you tried connecting to the one computer you hoped would be more fruitful: the Bat Computer. You attempt slipping through Wayne Enterprises' firewalls, but even with Flash and Batman 'strengthening' you, it's tricky to stay one step ahead, never mind two... After a number of close calls, you finally came to the main screen. "Authorization," a voice demanded. But you didn't know what to say...

Just as well that Batman and Lantern returned. When they came in, Bruce saw you were trying to get past his system, and he grabbed your head roughly. "You have one second to get out of my computer," he warned with a growl. So you quickly disengaged, and the screen was restored to Watchtower mainframe. He lets go, and the sudden onset of fear you felt quickly dissipated as he turns you around in the chair.

"Look. Shad," Lantern reasoned. "I know how you feel: not wanting to be helpless while the people you love are turned against you. Bruce and I feel that way, too."

"But only I may use my files," Batman scolded. And your actions, despite your noble intentions, only proved that he can't trust you... Although you felt bad for violating Batman's privacy, you felt responsible for those girls, and for Hades who was pulling their strings.

"Well, what did you have in mind, then?" you demanded.

"Calm down, Shad," said Lantern. "We all want the others to be safe."
