Chapter 3

Which girl does he test his first action on?
Junko Enoshima
Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Fashionista. One of the many, many Ultimates at Hope's Peak that seemed to loom far over Makoto Naegi when he first did his research on his, back then, classmates-to-be. Although now Makoto didn't know exactly how to feel about his fellow 'classmates'...
He didn't dislike her, not at all! She was probably one of the more level-headed people here other than the cold-looking Kyoko. He decided to target her because he knew her a little bit better than the other Ultimates, having seen multitudes of his younger sister's fashion magazines with her plastered on the front. As for Sayaka, despite him knowing her fairly well, he didn't feel comfortable 'using' her for this... at least not as his first.
As he stared down at his new tasks and their rules labeled on the monopad, contemplating what he had to do over and over again in his head, Makoto realized he had somewhere to be! It only now dawned on him that everyone was currently meeting in the cafeteria and that he was now definitely late due to Monokuma's interruption of his morning.
"Huh-!?" Jolting up from his bed, where he had been sitting, the Ultimate Lucky Student put his monopad away and quickly moved out of his room. Turning down empty hallways, he tried his best to make sure he wouldn't be any later than he already was. Being disliked in a place like this would be more dangerous than a bad reputation in any other school, after all. Unfortunately, by the time he made it to the cafeteria, everyone was already there.
As Makoto walked through the open doors and towards the group inside, a few people turned their heads to him. Others didn't care. "Makoto Naegi!" Taka shouted at the late student, clearly being of the group that did care. "You are late for our student meeting! You worried everyone!" After Taka's outburst pretty much anyone who hadn't already turned to him now was. Notably, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny still had yet to bother to turn his head.
"S-sorry...!" Makoto couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed even if the scolding was a little ridiculous. "It won't happen again." He only managed to squeak a small apology out in front of everyone. It was all he could say since he couldn't exactly tell the truth and couldn't come up with a good excuse off the top of his head.
Still, Kiyotaka seemed to accept this after a slight reprimanding and sat back down with the rest of the group. When Makoto finally sat down and joined them for the morning discussion, Asahina spoke up and started the daily conversation. A few students were more... positive than others. After all, the situation they were stuck in was undeniably horrible...
"More than they're even aware..." The Ultimate Lucky Student thought to himself. He was more quiet than usual that day, lost in his thoughts, a fact that one careful observer took note of.
After a few more minutes of breakfast, the meeting ended. "Alright! Let's get to it." Makoto started psyching himself up for his new goal for the day, different than the regular searching and exploring. He had to do this. For the sake of everyone... The main issue now was the location of Junko Enoshima--
Makoto had forgotten to keep tabs on her as he focused more on getting himself ready rather than actually getting it done. He looked around, confusedly, as if trying to find some trace of her around. Luckily, his glances lead to the realization that there was one person around for him to ask.
"Ah... hi, Kyoko-?" The purple-haired girl was still sitting down inside the cafeteria. She seemed to be rather deep in thought, only a light nod of her head showing that she might be listening.
"I was wondering, do you know where Enoshima went? I needed to talk to her." Something about the way the girl held herself made it hard for Makoto to dance around the topic. He supposed being direct here was probably fine, anyways.
"Laundry room," Kyoko replied coldly. "A few students suggested that she examine the clothing hanging above. I'm doubtful it will reveal much, but everyone's clinging onto whatever they can at this point."
Makoto was surprised Kyoko paid so much thought to it. She still hadn't told the group what her talent was, so he didn't know if her attentiveness was related, but it was certainly useful. He considered continuing the conversation but decided it'd be better to just give a quick goodbye and hurry before his time ran out.
Junko's task was... weird? Makoto had to look back on it once or twice. It wasn't something he could easily ask her to do or even **** her without risk. 10 whole seconds! Something like that might've been easy in a casual conversation but now felt much... much harder. Makoto couldn't ponder on this for long, however, as he was standing in front of the laundry room, and didn't have time to waste. Makoto gave a heavy sigh and opened the door to find Junko, alone, annoyedly looking at a few hanging shirts before taking them off the line. She was inspecting a tank top, though Makoto felt it was more like judging the fashion sense of... whoever's clothes these were. Either that or judging the group for sending her there in the first place. After setting the tank top down, she noticed Makoto who was still standing under the awning outside of the doorway. He willed himself to walk inside, knowing how weird it would be to have a conversation at this distance, would it even count from this distance?
"Oh. Hiii! Makoto!" She gave him a wave, flashing him a smile before focusing on picking at her nails. "This is dumb as hell. Do you need me for literally anything else?" Her way of speaking was as flamboyant as he remembered, which was unhelpful as Makoto wasn't used to talking to people like her...
"Um, yeah actually..." He was already standing next to the center table before noticing he forgot to close the door. He did so before continuing to speak. "I wanted to ask about something!" He already broke the stare once by going back. He found himself unable to stop counting the seconds in his head. He just had to get until 10...
Makoto tried his best to keep eye contact as he walked forward, pushing away thoughts of how likely it was that this was Monokuma's idea of a prank. This entire day had been one panic after another, not that that was uncommon in his time here... Out of the corner of his vision, he could see washing machines against the wall to the side of him and the clotheslines slightly above, still, he maintained his focus on her. Just a little while...
"Hm?" Junko seemed to notice how tense Makoto was, giving him an odd look. "W...what is it...?" She looked apprehensive as he drew near. Her hand was still up in the position it was earlier as she messed with her nails, yet now she definitely had her attention on him. Hazel and grey eyes bore into each other as the moments ticked by.
Makoto realized he hadn't been speaking much, leaving uncomfortable gaps of silence in between Junko speaking as he made his way towards her and stared. "Wait, what is she thinking? Does she think I'm up to something? Well, I am but... I can't let her look away!" Unable to keep himself from panicking and unable to think of something to say, Makoto needed to act fast or he would risk losing this chance...!
Time to think fast! What should Makoto do?

Danganronpa: Trigger Havoc
Not exactly "Trigger Happy"
Monokuma decides to mess with the game, but not exactly in a murderous way. Instead, he installs a lot of triggers into a lot of girls to give one person a new game, one filled with lust and pleasure.
