In the store

The store was well-lit, the same clear white and lime green colour scheme going on inside the store as well. The left side of the store was outfitted with a bunch of devices on flexible metal tubes that looked like an early 21st century smartphone, but was actually the remote control that came with the chip. To the right was a wall to wall, floor to ceiling seamless display, running an infomercial of sorts on a loop, showing testimonials, use-cases, the functions of the remote, demonstration, etc. At the centre of the store was a desk which was being attended by a fit looking young man.

"Good day, how may I help you?" the young man asked politely. "Good morning, I would like to redeem this certificate." Henry reaches into his pocket and presents the certificate. "Ah very good, one moment please..." the young man replies, taking the certificate and running it over a metal plate. A paper-thin display wound around the corner of the desk showed him the outcome of the authenticity test. The certificate passed. "Alright great, and since this certificate is only valid for one chip, to whom should it be administered?" At the same time, Henry smirked and pointed at Cindy. Cindy meanwhile beamed and raised her hand. The attendant chuckled and said "I should've guessed... I'll be right back!" He then got off his stool, and went through a curtain into the back of the store.

Cindy turned to Henry. "Oh this is so exciting, do you already have some ideas Henry?" Henry was busy making himself familiar with the remote control. "Hmm? Oh yeah are you kidding!? Of course!" Henry grinned mischievously at Cindy, who was already distracted by the huge wall screen, which was currently playing a short film about the submission control feature, showing a willing test subject with the setting completely turned off, not answering to any commands given. The remote control was then brought into view, and the submission slider on the screen was adjusted up by just a bit. When told the same command, the test subject struggled a bit, but after a few seconds followed the command, if not hesitantly. Then they brought the control into view again, and slid it up all the way to 100%. Immediately the test subjects muscles were way less tensed, and upon saying a command the test subject followed the command with almost a scary level of dedication.

"That could be you..." Henry said in a lustful tone directly over Cindy's shoulder, who was so entranced by the video that she was startled to have Henry standing right behind her. "Oh! Oh yeah, it looks so... so..." Cindy struggled to find the right word. "Blissful..." she eventually said, her words trailing behind. Just then the attendant came back into the store front. "Alright I have everything set up, if you'll follow me..." He parted the curtain with one arm, and gestured to the room beyond with his other arm. The curtain showed a glimpse of an equally white but this time accented light-purple room. Cindy and Henry looked at each other and entered together, the attendant following close behind.
