Chapter 16 by IsleyOfTheNorth IsleyOfTheNorth

What's next?

Approach the farmhouse.

There was an unmistakable smell coming through the farmhouse's half-parted door. A sort of musty sweetness that reminded me of spoiled fruit, rotting on a hot summer’s day. Then came the soft, rhythmic thumping of flesh pounding on flesh. A Nortlander’s voice echoed from inside once we reached the doorsteps.

"Ahh..ahh...ahh..."

"dαmn, єldhúѕfífl! clєnch tíghtєr!"

It was plain without seeing that Brother Dain and I shared similar ends. Most certainly, this would have been my fate, had Vorro not selected me to be his. Thus, for a fleeting second I found respite in knowing my situation could have been much worse. My nightmare from that day would have never ended. In a twisted sense, I was privileged. I had spent the last week lounging in angst while Brother Dain was servicing savages, granting each and everyone of them their sinful needs. My body shuddered at the thought. Out of respect I waited until the noise stopped and a barbarian not much older than I stepped out. He had a wide grin on his face as he left. Thankfully, he ignored us, leaving the farm with a chagrin and a half-erect loin.

Abo peeked in first and later motioned me to follow. Adjusting my own loins, in a silly attempt to appear modest, I climbed the small steps and closed the door behind me. The room was ill lit, besides the two flickering flames by the entrance and the scant ray of light peeking through the shuttered windows. There were two beds pushed on opposite ends of the room, both stripped of their linen and only laid with matted straws. One was empty but a pile of dirty rags while the other seated a naked man who I hardly recognized as Brother Dain. I shouted his name from across the room, hoping it was truly him..

"Dain! Brother Dain!"

The man slowly lifted his head, face bruised and lips chapped bloody. He didn't react at first, only sat there staring blankly. Then once his mind registered my face, he bolted from his seat and ran across the room.

"Peter? Is that you? You came! You finally came!"

We embraced each other, not minding each other's nakedness. His cock was caged, same as mine but this did not bother me. It was clear we both knew what the other had gone through thus modesty was the least of our concern. Feeling Dain’s warmth pressed up against me felt better than I could ever admit. After a while of us standing there, Dain spoke out in muffled tears.

"I feared you wouldn't come, that they had taken you to a place like this. It's been horrible hasn't it? The things these savages have done..."

"God truly blesses us on this day."

The practiced phrase escaped my lips out of habit. In hindsight, it was neither the time or place to speak of blessings. But Dain simply smiled and looked towards Abo.

"Thank you, Abo. I feared you wouldn't have risked it. I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't. But thank you, truly. You've no idea how much this means to me."

Abo said nothing and only nodded. He awkwardly lifted the chickens he still had tied to his hands and left without saying a word.
