"Nice theory. Just one itsy-bitsy problem with that..." she squeaked. Then Harley took a deep breath and shouted, "Luthor ain't gonna win any way!" Her voice was loud enough to distract the others momentarily from their work, but they quickly got back to it.

"One minute to firing," sir Justin told Harley. She had to tell you, so she contacted you and said you had 'less than a minute until showtime,' as she put it. You pushed yourself out of the wall, watching as Imp interlocked his fingers between the spaces and stretched them.

You felt like you knew what you had to do, and you said, "You're a clone. There's nothing special about you." He snarled as you phased through the floor, and he flew down after you the same way. You and he made it outside and you held your breath because you couldn't breathe in space... You positioned yourself under the Watchtower and waited for him, and he grabbed you by your throat, draining your energy!

"Don't you get it, ass-hat? You can't hurt me, you can't kill me. I'll be faster, stronger, and better." At that moment, though you kept your fluttering eyes on him to stay conscious, the cannon targeted the Imp.

"Fire!" yelled all three of your friends. The cannon's mouth lit up, and just as your copy looked behind him in surprise, it fired at you both! The huge blast pushed you down to earth, forcing you both to burn up on reentry and crash into the ground! Not to mention being completely caught up in a humongous mushroom cloud in the desert. To avoid unneeded casualties...

The both of you lie in a mangled heap in a giant sinkhole, bruised and singed and ****.
