Towards Trouble!

The lift took you to metal doors that opened in the floor, bringing you back inside the warehouse you were at before.

Mercy laid there in the basement with soulless eyes, breathing lightly with... a light smile on her face. By that time, Luther had regained consciousness and was looking to pay you back when he found her. "Mercy!" He ran to her, knelt by her side and lifted up her top half in his arms to examine her.

As you looked around at the familiar empty space, you called Sir Justin and Vigilante for pickup. "Guys, if you can read me, I'm inside the warehouse where we fought Luthor's suit."

"We have your position, Shadow," said the Shining Knight. "We're on our way."

"Hurry..." Your voice was almost inaudible for them, for worry clutched at your breath. That monstrosity could've gone anywhere by now.

But not just anywhere, unfortunately...

The Darkseid wannabe was actually flying into the air by rocket boots with his fisted arms at his sides, and his eyes were partially computerized so he was homing in, just like a certain android, on his target: the Watchtower! As soon as he left Earth's atmosphere and quickly approached the base, J'onn watched him coming.

"Attention, all Justice League," he announced over the PA system. "We have an unidentifiable being coming in fast. Go to yellow alert and await further instructions." Everyone inside went to their battle stations, and waited in growing anticipation for whatever threat was bound for the Watchtower. J'onn fired the sentry cannons, but the intruder of their airspace easily dodged the energy blasts.

"What do you know? I'm a blur." The villain made it to the outside of the hangar, arched his large fist back and punctured a hole in it! He could care less about the vacuum sucking the whole area into the void of space. He just widened the hole and crawled inside.

Meanwhile, a loud alarm warned J'onn that there was a problem in the hangar, so he initiated a lockdown and covered the hole so it could be fixed later. If there was going to be a 'later'... Inside, Red Tornado saw the intruder and blasted him with a crimson red funnel to push him back. But he dug in his heels, and then stomped his boots as thin white rings appeared nearest the soles of his boots; he magnetized his feet to the floor! He watched Tornado and his iris lit up, analyzing him throughout! After that, he raised his hand and touched the bottommost circle on his forehead, triggering magnetic waves to aim at the robot. His systems were malfunctioning and electricity surged all over its metal body just before it fell, shutting down on the floor.

After that was taken care of, he went to the bay doors that led into a hallway. "I'm coming..." he grinned with in a singsong voice.

J'onn warned, "Attention, everyone. The threat has left the hangar, so we need to intercept him in the conjoining hallway."
