Where is Fortune headed?

The Tavern

The first stop of any sea loving no good fucking misfit, the tavern. Lower Noxus is a shithole of epic proportions wherever you look is metal and red. The area is downright downtrodden, stinking, and filthy. The birthplace of crooks, no good thieves, and criminals. The steady rumble of constant marching, and shouting, and more shouting, create a chaotic din that is easy to lose oneself into. The grinding of fine metal edges into weapons, the working of wood into hilt, shield, arrows, and the booms of the war machines. The sights are a tumble of information all vying for space in your mind. One thing is clear, Noxus is an empire at war.

Fortune slips past a guard checkpoint and into the safety of a tavern called the Crawl. The Crawl is at best a den to the finest roaches and rats of Noxus, and at worst, the humble abode of Sir Larius Rex. Sir Larius Rex is THE yes, the, "Number one information broker and innkeep this side of Runeterra."

"Well see about that pops." Fortune eyes him up and down, handing him three silver pieces. "Alcohol, soup, and bread." Larius grunts at her, pouring her a glass of rum, and serving her up some soup with a side of sourdough bread. The soup has a fragrant clear broth and swimming in the warm goodness are pieces of bacon, pulled pork, and potatoes. Miss Fortune gulps it down in mere minutes, glugging down thick chunks of pork and sourdough with swigs of rum and soup. "Always did like a woman with an appetite." Larius leers down Fortune's torn blouse and baggy chainmail. Her bosom much too glorious to contain within the confines of mortal clothing. "Careful Larius." She flicks a wet piece of bread at him, "You're biting off more than you can chew." Larius bites his fist. "So what do you need... besides a massive discount on the lunch." he winks at Fortune. She tosses him another half silver piece.

"Mecha suits in the Noxus bay. Who's making them, and where are they coming from?" Fortune picks at her teeth with her sharktooth necklace. Larius Rex whistles, "Now that is info, that's info info, you get what I'm saying?" Larius rubs his fingertips together. "Four silver pieces." she offers.

"One gold." Larius says calm as rain. Fortune gapes, "You shitting me Rex?"

"Hey, hey, hey! That's secret Noxian military tech, this kinda stuff doesn't come for just five silver alright?"

Fortune pouts at Larius.

Larius looks torn between the value of information and pleasing a cute girl. "Alright look, if you're willing to do me a favor, I'll give ya the info for free."

Fortune arches a red eyebrow. "What kind of favor?"

"I need someone killed."

"I'm listening Rex."

Larius dips down into a low whisper, "Name is Killfield Holmes. He's a well established gang leader here in Lower Noxus, nearly all the shops have to pay him a stipend. A few of the merchants and I have ordered hits on him before, but the cunning fox won't die."

"I'm good Rex, but there's bound to be dozens of his gang members there with him, I'm not that good." Fortune is being modest, but without her pistols, trying to fight that many men would prove to be a fatal task. "Now hold on. I wouldn't send ya on a job like this without some firepower." Larius reaches behind the counter and pulls out a steampunk rifle, there are gears and mechanisms all over the thing, but most imporantly it has a trigger. "Pretty ain't she?"

"She's beautiful." Fortune marvels over the thing, appreciating the detailed gear work and testing its weight. "It's an older model, so you won't draw much attention with it, but it has been modded with certain functions."

"What does it do?" Fortune ponders over the clockwork rifle, trying to figure it out.

"The rifle doesn't work based off of regular ammunition, instead it feeds directly from your mana, the more mana you put it in, the more powerful your bullets."

Fortune has a nasty smile on her face. "I'll get your man Rex. You just sit tight, look pretty, and tell me where I can find him. Larius is wearing a pleased look, "Far west side of town, you can't miss him, big guy covered in tattoos and lugs around a big axe."
