A New Dawn
Kaylee stood beside me as I pulled my luggage from the trunk. An arm crossed over her chest, she looked nervous. For the life of me, I didn’t understand why. I’ll admit that things got rough there for a moment, but things were looking up. We had a wonderful night and I was sure I would only have a few light bruises from her **** beating she gave me. Besides, she gave me the greatest apology a guy could ask for. As short as I lasted for her first blowjob, the second was even faster. I was starting to think she was being modest when she said she was ‘pretty’ good. I knew I wasn’t a quick shot, but it was a bit of a blow to my confidence when she could pop me off in under a minute.
“Have everything?” she asked as I closed the trunk.
“Think so.” There was an awkward moment of silence as we both looked at each other. “Thank you for inviting me.”
She blushed. “It was… fun.”
Setting my bag down, I moved over to her and gave her a kiss. I didn’t let her go until my lungs were burning for air. She was as breathless as I was, blue eyes meeting mine. “One step at a time,” I said softly as I brushed a few strands of hair from her face. “Things are going to change, but not everything and not all at once. We’ll figure things out as they come up. I promise you won’t be alone this time,” I said taking her hand.
She nodded, giving me a smile.
“I love you,” she said before giving me another kiss.
“I love you too,” I said as I released her hand. Grabbing my bags, I headed towards the house. At the door, I turned to give her a wave before heading inside.
Saying hello to my parents, I gave them some highlights of the trip before heading upstairs to unpack and decompress. There were high expectations going into the trip, but I never expected things to happen like they had. There were still a lot of things for the two of us to work out moving forward. Kaylee was not a one-man sort of woman, and I understood she never would be no matter how much I wished for it. This wouldn’t be something that would come up right away, but it was inevitable. The implications from last night were clear when she had me change her Preference Profile. ‘Slow n’ Tender’ might be our thing now, but she had said nothing about the other two options.
Knowing that didn’t fill me with the dread it once had. It wasn’t like I enjoyed the idea, but it no longer sent me into a dark spiral of self-pity. Maybe I couldn’t give Kaylee the mind-blowing sex some other guys could, I would certainly try, but none of them could ever compete with what I offered. Most of all, I didn’t have to hide from her anymore. Yeah, she was going to sleep with guys like Sean, but she didn’t need them to take care of her needs anymore. That was my job, and no guy was going to take that from me. I think she understood that, but when the inevitable arrived, I would make sure that was clear.
Standing in front of the mirror on the back of my door, I gave a hard look at the guy standing in the reflection. This was the man Kaylee had chosen. Holding my head high, I gave the man a quick nod and a confident smile.
Yeah. I had this.
