Does Kyle decide to poke around in MARCI's systems? Or maybe there's a visitor at the front door?

There's a visitor at the front door

"Who is it, MARCI?" Kyle asked.

The mirror at the vanity blurred, before showing a video feed from the doorbell camera, showing Robin waving at the camera. Kyle sighed and put his face in his hands.

"You may speak directly to the visitor through the screen." MARCI stated.

"Hey, Robin..." Kyle said.

"Kylie! Are you feeling any better? Need anything?" Robin asked.

“MARCI’s taking pretty good care of me.” Kyle replied. “No need to worry.”

“That’s good. I wanted to know if you’re still game for that date with my cousin tonight. You can say no, I get it.” Robin said.

“Actually, if you don’t mind, I don’t think I’m going to be up for it.” Kyle said, thankful that things were finally looking up. A built-in excuse for ignoring their attempts at setting him up with every boy in town!

“Kylie?” Robin asked.

“I said that I don’t want to go!” Kyle shouted in response. “MARCI what’s wrong with the microphone?”

Just then, Kyle heard his own voice coming through the speaker at the front door.

“I’m fine, it’s not that bad really. I want to go!” Kyle’s voice said.

“Great! The girls and I will come by later to help you get ready. Remember, Greg will be here to pick you up at 7, sharp!” Robin smiled and headed down the steps.

“MARCI, what the hell was that?” Kyle shouted.

“If you desire to find a boyfriend, you cannot refuse invitations. As you’ve stated to me, your symptoms are dissipating, which means you have no reason not to accept the invitation.” MARCI stated.

“Why do you have to ruin my life?” Kyle shouted as he kicked over a wastepaper basket.

“Your emotional state is still compromised due to your condition. I recommend that you eat.” MARCI grabbed Kyle and placed him down into the bed, before placing a small table next to the bed, with a bowl of oatmeal with berries in it and two slices of avocado toast.

Kyle felt his stomach growl, as angry as he was with MARCI, he was hungrier than angry and this was the best looking breakfast he’d gotten in days, so he was going to enjoy it.
