Jason vs Battle Robot... and a lesson learnd.. never piss of Huntress

Chapter 47 by Colleem Colleem

"The next one now would be Jason." Said Helen, smiling as she saw Little Barda limping slowly back to the group.

"Uh, Miss Wayne... we ran out of robots." Jason smiled in a good mood and gave Beast Boy a high five.

"Dude! So lucky," Beast cheered as another wall opened up and another walker went into the middle. "Oh... manning..." Beast sighed and Jason stretched.

"Well, let me show you how a real pro does that," he grinned and courageously stood in front of the robot. Helen watched as the fighting machine loaded its weapons through and then captured his target.

Jason, on the other hand, just stood there and crossed his arms, trying to look as cool as possible. Not even when the robot pointed its minigun at him did he react.

"Hey Bro! You might want to dodge those big rotating things, dude! They really hurt," Beast Boy shouted to him as the robot suddenly took a step back and stretched out his arms. The metallic voice of him sounded as he waved his arms wildly. It looked a bit strange and Little Barda grinned.

"He seems to be broken!"

"Oh no. It's Robin!" the robot suddenly said. "The mighty and terrifying Robin. I beg for mercy! Please mighty Robin! I am but a little worm in the shadow of your omnipotence! No one could ever take you on. Your hair is so perfect, and the women adore you."

Robin grinned at Helen and pulled out his cell phone. "Does that count as a victory, too?"

Helen was writing something down on her clipboard when Beast Boy suddenly screamed. But the warning for Jason came too late. Even his good reflexes were no longer enough. Behind him, the robot had put his minigun back in position and let a hail of bullets fall on him. The paint cartridges exploded all over his body and screaming tried to protect himself somehow. After a few seconds the robot just stood up again and stopped the fire. Then it started to speak in the voice of Helen.

"Yes, go Robin go Robin go Robin. Has a big mouth and did not even realize that he was being followed? “?

On the big screen you could see Robin sneaking through the plant and looking around worried. Again, and again photos were shown, which showed him from different positions. It quickly became clear, however, that they were not surveillance cameras. One of the photos was even a selfie of Helen grinning cheekily into the camera while Jason was tampering with a console in the background.

"What we see here is the death of every hero. Arrogance. I won't deny that it was a clever move to reprogram the robot. And you have real talent. But do you really think you're at the peak of your abilities?"

Jason was seething with rage inside, and when she reached into her bag, she threw him a wallet.

"Kid... I was this close to you," she said quietly and stood up. "Jason... combat training. Failed!" she said coldly, and Jason looked at her.

"They can't do this! Bruce is going to kill me! I demand..."

He did not get any further. He pulled up his arms to block but the blow was only a feint. Helen's left drilled deep into his flank and hit the weak point of his armor. He lost his breath for a fraction of a second and that was enough for Helen to grab his neck and twirl under his arm. Jason knew this grip. He had practiced it hundreds of times and still couldn't master it. Even Batman couldn't get out of it. A technique from the League of Shadows. Properly executed, this attack was the end of anyone without meta skills.

"WHAT do you want? Do you think you'll get extra treatment here?" she said, holding him with just one arm. As much as he resisted, he couldn't get out of it and he felt his vision slowly turn black. Like all techniques in the League, this one was also meant to kill. And he would not be able to stand it for a long time. His movements became slower and flabbier, more a slight waving as she let go of him and he fell to the ground like a wet sack.

"Let this be a lesson to you! There is always someone who is stronger, faster, better trained or smarter than you! You alone will NEVER become an invincible force! Alone, even Superman is in a lost position! Believe me... I have seen it!"

Angry at herself for having gone so far, she closed her files and left the hall as well. The Student would stay here and be on call.

At the top she got a report from the guard that everything was quiet so far. However, this report also said that her new teacher had tried to enter the school. He had been turned away, but it was assumed that he had seen some of the security systems.

"Well... we were going to go into confidence anyway."
