Message Supergirl for back-up

As you are not sure what effect the energy beam will have on your nanites you decide to ask for help. You think Supergirl will get here the fastest, so you message her, asking her to cause a distraction.

While you wait you look around and try to think of a plan. The crazy lady is standing in the open looking to pick off anyone else who comes into range. Most people are hiding behind whatever barriers they can find. The more adventurous are holding their phones and filming the incident, clearly hoping that their videos will go viral and be used by the media.

The embarrassed police officers are also taking cover, somehow without their uniforms they don’t seem quite as imposing or authoritative, you also notice that the male officer is trying to catch a glimpse of his female partner without her realising. She is more concerned with ensuring that her body isn’t caught on camera by those filming. Her eyes keeping darting around the scene to the ever more numerous phones appearing in the hands of the people all around the area, her arms are trying and failing to keep her naked body covered.

Just then you hear a loud supersonic boom, followed by a whoosh as a blurred red and blue figure lands in the square. As her feet touch the ground an updraft blows up her skirt giving everyone an amazing view of what lies beneath.

Supergirl has arrived. She stands in the middle of the street, her hands on her hips surveying the scene and projecting raw power. You also notice something different about her and her uniform.

You wonder what she was doing when she received your message.
