The crescent moon beamed light into your room, but with the window closed, no breeze blew, so the transparent white curtains rested against the wall. The door opened quietly as Wonder Woman poked her head in, and as she saw you sleeping peacefully, her breathing got a bit ragged from remembering what you did to her mother.

She crept in and many logical parts of her were yelling at her not to, but she ignored them. Diana pulled back the covers to slip under them, and she wrapped an arm around you. "I'm sorry... I tried to help." She then saw your bare cheek, but you wriggled in your sleep, so she waited until you were still. ... Then she kissed your cheek, falling asleep beside you.
