Chapter 4

"My name is Barry Allen," he said introducing himself, "And this is Supergirl, Winslow Schott, and Lucy Lane." he told Mon-El while surprising Lucy, Kara and Winn.

"What? Why are you all surprised?" Barry asked them with a frown.

"You remember our full names?" Winns asked, getting excited.

"Yeah, I'm slowly remembering everything." Barry replied with a grin.

Winn hugged Barry tightly because of his excitement.

"I still don't remember what happened to my mother, though." Barry commented with a frown.

"Sorry, I don't know what happened to your mother, either." Winn replied, solemnly.

"I'll tell you later, Barry." Kara told her boyfriend.

"I recognize that symbol," Mon-El said as he pointed at Kara's symbol.

"Kara told me the symbol of the House of El stands for hope." Barry replied, beating Mon-El to the punch, so to speak.

"That's the symbol for weakness." Mon-El mocked her symbol, "It was never a symbol for hope, only weakness." He continued.

Barry wondered why Mon-El was getting so upset, so he whispered to Kara.

"What's his problem?" Barry asked her.

"Krypton and Daxam have been at war for many years, Daxam is a planet ruled by a dictator and their prince was a playboy in many different planets." Kara explained.

"Whatever war Daxam had with Krypton doesn't matter anymore, they're both wastelands, now." Barry commented suddenly remembering what Kara told him.

"You remembered." Kara said with a smile.

"Yes I do." Barry told his girlfriend.

"What happened to Krypton and Daxam?" Mon-El asked them, confused.

"Krypton blew up and like Barry said, Daxam is a wasteland now." Kara informed Mon-El.

Mon-El sat there in silence while processing the information that he just learned.

"My planet is dead?" Mon-El asked, still shocked.

"Yeah, even though we're enemies, I'm truly sorry." Kara replied solemnly.

"Me too." Mon-El replied, sadly.

The two refugees shared a look of understanding and mourn.

Barry is glaring at Mon-El. He doesn't trust him and feels threatened by him, he also feels that he isn't telling them something.

"I'm gonna get some air." Barry said to the group.

Before could Kara reply, Barry ran away in a gust of wind.

Barry hopes that he could at least remember something from his past life. He wants to remember his family, friends, or even maybe a girlfriend.

Barry passed by Catco and saw a news on a TV.

"Oliver Queen is alive and the Starling City billionaire is currently being treated of his wounds at Starling General Hospital." The news anchor said.

Barry's head started to hurt and he fell **** on the ground.

"You can be better because you can inspire people in a way that I never could." Oliver said to him.

"If you ever need a hand, just call me." Oliver said while shaking Barry's hand.

"I am The Green Arrow." He said while facing the camera.

"I have a son?" Oliver asked him.

Barry woke up in a dark room and he is in a cage.

Barry tried to phase through but he found himself that he can't.

"Good afternoon, ." A female voice said.

"Where am I? Where are you?" Barry asked, worried.

"Don't worry, you are in the hands of CADMUS." The voice said.

DEO

Kara was getting worried for Barry. He should've been back by now.

"Where is he? Why did he even run away?" Kara asked her sister with a worried look.

"He feels threatened, Kara." Alex informed.

"Of Mon-El? Why?!" Kara asked, exasperated.

"You two share a bond of some sort in being refugees, the loss of planets, and Mon-El knows more about Krypton than him." Alex explained further.

"That's all? He feels threatened!" Kara exclaimed.

"You don't get it, Kara." Alex began, "He can't relate to you because he doesn't remember anything, he can't tell you stories that are similar to yours that will ease your nerves. He wants to but can't and he sees Mon-El do what he wants to do ever since he forgot his identity." Alex explained to her.

"Where is he now?" Kara asked, calming down and thinking of Alex's reason.

"Winn, tracked the signature that he leaves when he runs to an off-site CADMUS warehouse." Alex told her.

"Why is CADMUS holding Barry?" Lucy asked her.

"Probably to lure me." Kara answered, grimly.

"This is obviously a trap, Kara. We need a plan." Alex told her sister.

"There's no time, Barry needs me." Kara said as he flew away.

CADMUS Warehouse

"What do you want with me?!" Barry asked them.

"We want you to end Supergirl." The voice said as the doors swung open and they opened Barry's cell and dragged him in a metal bed.

"How did you know who I was?" Barry asked, "Have you been watching me?" he asked incredulously.

"We've been watching all of humanity." The voice said as a doctor with brown hair came in.

"This is Dr. Caitlin Snow. She will perform the surgery." The voice said.

"Caitlin!?" Barry asked incredulously, "You're the doppelganger of a woman, I once knew in Central City…" Barry trailed off.

Caitlin just ignored him and proceeded to prepare for the surgery.

"What are you gonna do with me?" Barry asked, worried.

"Your mind will soon be under our control and Kara Danvers will have to fight the person she loves the most." The voice said.

Caitlin injected Barry with a very strong sedative and proceeded to power the machine that will disable his mind to make a choice.

They were about to proceed with the operation when suddenly…

Kara landed with a crater, she saw what's happening with Barry and she also feels weak. She scanned the room for Kryptonite and found boxes of them beside her.

Mon-El showed up as well. He grabbed Kara and carried her past the boxes of Kryptonite into the CADMUS facility.

"Kill the speedster, our plans cannot be set back." The voice ordered.

Caitlin flipped a switch and Barry was electrocuted from head to toe.

"Goodbye Kara." Barry said solemnly.

The ECG began to ring with a straight line in it.

Kara woke up and saw Barry in a metal bed, lifeless.

In a fit of desperation, Kara grabbed Barry off of the metal bed, and began to lay him down and perform CPR on his heart...

"Come on, Barry." Kara began while crying, "Don't leave me please." She sobbed.

After a couple of tries, Barry's heart is still not beating.

Kara kept trying until Barry jolted up with a start, gasping and coughing…

"BARRY!" Kara cried out in joy as she hugged him.

"Kara? I remember." Barry said to her with a smile, "I remember everything."

"You scared me half to ****, Barry!" Kara said shrilly.

"Well, at least you're not the one who actually did die." Barry said with a humorless laugh.

Kara just shook her head at Barry and kissed him passionately, not caring about Mon-El looking at them.

"Kara? I need to get back to my Earth." Barry said to her, sadly.

"You-you don't want to stay with me?" Kara asked sadly, "After you said you wanted to?" she began to sob.

"I want to but I still need to stop Zoom and rescue his prisoners, My Earth is still in danger." Barry explained.

"I'll come with you, I'm sure I can get Winn to create a device that makes small breaches." Kara offered, not wanting to be away from her boyfriend.

"As much as I want to take that offer, you are needed here. As Supergirl and as Kara Danvers." Barry replied with a sad smile.

"Barry I-" Kara began, "I can't promise you that I'll still be single when you get back, I need to keep living my life." Kara said sadly.

"And I want you to, if I never come back, it could only be two things," Barry began, "I'm either dead or I was stuck there but either way, move on and find someone new to be crazy about. Promise?" He told her.

"I promise." Kara said then she kissed him again.

DEO ~ The New One

Barry, Kara, Lucy, Winn and Mon-El stood in the new DEO building that J'onn and Alex never told them about.

"We have a base here?!" Barry and Kara exclaimed in unison.

"Yeah, I come here everyday." Alex commented nonchalantly.

"A bat bit me in the last one." Kara complained with a pout.

"Cry me a river, Kara." Alex said smugly.

"I wish I was the bat." Mon-El flirted with a smile.

Barry felt jealous but then he remembered the promise, he had Kara make. If only Earth-1 wasn't in danger…

"Hey Winn, can you figure out what went wrong last time I tried to get home?" Barry asked him.

"I already did and it turns out you two weren't going fast enough." Winn said as he read the results.

"What do you mean? I was at my fastest." Barry asked with a frown.

"It's because you dropped the Tachyon device on the ground, to give Kara a hug." Winn explained remembering what Kara told him.

"But how am I going to get back to my Earth?" Barry asked.

"I've created this device that creates a small breach." Winn explained, "You just need to press the red button." Winn said to Barry.

"Can you give me all that you've made?" Barry asked.

"Sure," Winn said. He gave Barry five Inter-dimensional Extrapolators.

"Bye everyone." He said as his eyes lingered between Kara and Mon-El.

"Don't mess it up with her." Barry told Mon-El while looking at Kara.

"I won't." Mon-El replied.

"Bye, Kara." Barry whispered as he pressed the button and jumped through the breach.

Kara cried silently because she felt like her heart was being crushed in a vice.

"I need some time alone." She said then flew to thei-her apartment.

"I can see why she's so upset." Lucy said aloud, "Barry's a great guy." she said to no one in particular.

Kara brought six boxes of pizzas and six boxes of potstickers while remembering the memories that she and Barry shared.

Central City ~ Earth-1

Barry speeded into STAR Labs and asked, "How long was I gone?"

Cisco came up to him and patted his back.

"You just annihilated your old record by ten percent." Cisco said to him...

Barry just nodded his head and began to formulate a plan to take down Zoom.
