The Weather got worst

Just as we are done and I want to close the trunk, it slowly starts to snow. My gaze goes towards the sky where I see dark clouds moving in, which quickly drive away the beautiful weather. In the distance I see the last rays of the sun light up the valley below us.

"Not much longer, then the snow front will also reach the valley" it goes through my head.

"Mrs. Schuster, I think a storm is slowly brewing" I say when I reach the cabin and want to close the door behind me. When Mrs. Schuster hears my voice, she quickly walks in my direction and looks out of the slightly open front door.

"Oh no! You're right, Ben. I hope it won't be too bad. Let's get some firewood in quickly so that we can heat the cabin” she replies, slightly worried, while still looking towards the sky.

Quickly we both go out towards the woodshed. Fortunately, this is only a few meters from the house entrance door. After we both have reached our goal, we notice how the snowfall is getting stronger. Large white flakes fall from the sky and increase the already ankle-high snow millimeter by millimeter. Each of us carries as many pieces of wood as we can while the frosty weather is getting more explosive every minute. When we have carried enough wood into the cabin, the storm has taken its course. The wind whistles through the trees and because of the now very heavy snowfall you can hardly see further than 2 meters. We quickly close the door behind us.

"I'll turn on the fireplace quickly" says Mrs. Schuster, shivering from the cold.

She quickly walks towards the fireplace and lights it. I follow her and bring a few more pieces of wood that I put next to the fireplace. When she turns to me, I see her long hair, wet and slightly disheveled, snaking around her face. Her lips are blue from the cold and I can see her whole body shaking. I'm not feeling better either, as the snow has cooled me down a lot and has soaked through except for my underwear.

"We have to warm up quickly, otherwise we will kill ourselves“ says Mrs. Schuster, still trembling.
