Quite a ways to go.

As you scurry down the street, you have a terrible feeling that the party's about to start without you. You see the building getting taller as you approach, and you wonder how best to get to top ASAP. Presently, you feel an essence within your body coursing through your veins, and a transparent shape of Vixen running in the same way and place around your outline. It vanished and you seem to extend your claws by instinct, running up the walls on all fours and climbing at the same time.

From above, the three were just about ready to fire their data stream across cities when Cheetah's ear twitched. "Wait." She turned her head to get a better hearing angle. "Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Star inquired.

"I don't hear anything other than our machine," Humanite informed. Cheetah walked to the edge of the building, looking around for the source of the sound: soft thuds that grew gradually louder. She peered down and saw you, leaping determinedly towards the top.

"It's the new recruit! He's coming!" The two took Cheetah's warning to begin, but... the machine was 85% charged. You made it to the top, and you looked as if someone just ripped out your heart...

"Back away from that thing. Only warning!"

"You're ridiculous," Humanite dismissed. "You're outnumbered and outmatched, young man."

"Surrender while you can," Star suggested. But you ignored her, and advanced foolhardily towards them.

"Very well," said Humanite. "Ladies, arrange his funeral." Star Sapphire flew ahead while Cheetah sped towards you on her hind legs. She made the first move, lunging at you only for you to grab her ankle and swing her around. As she tumbled back the way she came from, Star fired several beams of light purple from the jewel on her mask. You bobbed, weaved, and somersaulted in the air to dodge them all. When her **** failed, she switched tactics and used her light to create a solid, strong entrapping bubble! You elbow it, kick and bang on it, but it wasn't giving way at all.
