Get ready to rumble!

Since Hawkgirl was weakened, slower due to the paralysis dart that Copperhead used, he had no problem slinking and dodging her attacks. Meanwhile, while you tried one time to help Shayera, Shade's literal dark powers prevented you from doing that. You were closed in, and while holding his staff, he engaged you in a martial arts fight to which you each countered each other's advances, seeming to exchange them.

Copperhead got cheeky and whipped her face hard with his costume's tail, knocking her off-balance some. But she stumbles on, refusing to give up despite feeling the toxin build up in her veins. "You poor thing," he mocked, tripping her up with his tail. She tumbled and collapsed on her back, struggling to get off of it. "Here's a get-well-soon kiss." He reached for something inside his costume, and clasped it in his tight grip. He kissed his open palm and waved it at her, and as for the last part, he blew more than a kiss at her in powder form.

You turned to check on Hawkgirl, the dust cloud she was briefly in. You recognized it! Supergirl and Wonder Woman both were affected by it... You had a feeling that it might happen again, but your thoughts got interrupted by a flying roundhouse kick to the face.

You spun like a top several times before you got your footing again. Shade's a tough customer, like you. But... he does have a weakness that supposed immediately: take his cane away and it'll be a fair fight, at least. You and he slowly came towards each other, feeling each other with open hands and sweeping feet.

Meanwhile, Snake-boy was enjoying torturing his victim. "Let me help you out..." He was pulling her top down, revealing her beautiful breasts.

"Don't touch me, you snake," Hawkgirl threatened.

"Oh yeah," he replied. "As if you're gonna so hurt me right now."

No matter how tempting it was to look back and watch Hawkgirl having her breasts toyed with, you shouldn't get distracted.

You and Shade duke it out some more, and the ring of darkness was closing in around you two. He wanted to limit how much space you're allowed so he can finish you off. So, if you were to take the cane from him, it was now or never! When he made his quick jab, you avoid by making a quick and complete 360 in place, grabbing his arm and flipping him onto his back. All in one fluid motion. Shade lost grip for an instant, giving you the chance needed to disarm him. He witnessed you having his staff in hand, right before you broke it in half! "Run back to Luthor. Tell him that he won't win. Ever." And that's just what the shadow man did: run, with his tail secretly between his legs.
