Last Chance

My eyes refused to leave Kaylee as I watched her walk. Like always, she was stunning. She had that sexy, ‘threw this together’ look to her, though watching her painstakingly prepare for the past forty minutes it was anything but thrown together. Her outfit for the occasion was a cropped white sweater paired with a dark blue, high-rise mini flared skirt. The combo showed off just enough of her midriff to tease the eye. If you stared hard enough, you could just make out the outline of her black bra through the stitching of the sweater. It wasn’t the risque underwear she had worn over to my house, but I could tell these were a step up from what she regularly wore.

Kaylee pulled me to a stop. My eyes went to the number on the door. 0605. This was it. Inside—

“Scott.” My eyes went to her. She smiled. “I want this to be something both of us enjoy, so let me know what you want to see and I’ll do my best to make it happen. This will be like the night before we came here.” Her smile widened. “We can even roleplay a bit if you want. Their English isn’t that great, so you don’t have to worry about it being awkward. Whatever you want, I’ll follow your lead, okay?”

I rubbed the back of my neck, nodding slowly. That might have been true, but it was already awkward.

“Remember, our word is eclipse. Say it, and it’s over.” Her hands ran down my arms as she stepped in close as she took a quick breath. “Wow, I’m actually a little nervous.”

She was nervous? I was a ball of frayed nerves. My throat was dry. Why was my mouth so dry? It was like I’d been chewing on sandpaper.

Standing on her tippy toes, she kissed me. When she backed away, she looked at the door. Facing it, she reached out and knocked.

The door opened and I was face to face with one of the men from the hot tub. This was the first time I’d seen him up close. Seeing him, I felt some of the tension in my back release. There wasn’t anything remarkable about him. He was about my height, but he had a face that you would instantly forget walking past him on the street. He wasn’t bad looking by any stretch of the imagination, but he was definitely not on Kaylee’s radar. It was sheer luck Kaylee had even bothered to give him a second look.

Since I didn’t know his name, I mentally named him Spiky since his hair was spiked in the front.

Greeting each other, he stepped aside to let us in. Kaylee didn’t hesitate as she stepped inside. The man’s gaze flowed over her as she walked past and I knew what he was thinking. I was thinking the same thing the entire time we were coming down here.

Kaylee was hotter than hell.
