Chapter 2 by Bill42 Bill42

Who's first in line to achieve his dream?

Bill Silvers

Bill Silvers was a freshman exchange student. His hometown was the sister city to the small town where Michelle had set-up her competition and so he was given the opportunity to study abroad at their University for a year.

Bill was short for his age, about 5?4?, with an average build. He had dark brown, almost black, hair and chestnut brown eyes that sat behind his thin black glasses. His features were soft and kind but behind the innocent looking eyes was a burning desire for competition. Bill was well-known in his hometown for being good with a throwing knife. He had won several local competitions but was unable to attend national tournaments because he couldn?t afford to travel. His family wasn?t the wealthiest in the area. Bill knew that he could have won those tournaments if he had been given the chance.

His dreams crushed Bill channeled his competitiveness into his schoolwork. Bill had a knack for writing. He ended up getting a full-ride to college because of his literary prowess. Bill loved knowing that he was better then someone else at something. So, when he heard about ?The Virgin Knifethrower? Bill simply had to test his skill.

He waited patiently in line for his chance to match his skill against Michelle. He wanted to see the expression on her face when she lost to him. The only better feeling would be taking her virginity afterward. She would learn who was the best knife thrower.

After what seemed like an eternity of waiting. A voice called from inside inviting him inside to test his luck.

?Luck will have nothing to do with it,? he said with a smile as he entered the building. Bill had learned some Russian in order to better communicate with the locals and his professors.

?Bold words from such a little man,? Michelle said with a laugh. Bill rolled his eyes. His whole life he got crap from people for being short. He assumed that people would grow out of it but people were more shallow then he gave them credit for.

?I believe the charge is 100 ruples,? he said as he handed her the money.

?You want to just leave now and spare yourself the humiliation?? she asked him. This just added fuel to the fire. Bill looked around the room and found the board.

?Let?s let the knives do the talking,? he said.

Does Bill win? If so, by how much?
