Stunned and conflicted.

Servant looks at herself in the mirror and gapes in disbelief. She raises her hands to curiously explore her body a moment, sliding along her hourglass hips and waist and cupping her perfect breasts. She steps closer to stare at her own face, turning it slightly this way and that way.

You take a moment to go through her purse as she studies herself. You find her cell phone, credit cards, and photo ID and take them for yourself. Looking back up at her, you see that tears have formed at the corners of her eyes.

You perceive that her emotions are all over the place. She is thrilled that she's become the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. but she's also staring at the reality of her forever-lost last life. She isn't the same person, physically. Aside from a hint of familiarity in the eyes, no single part of her reminds her of her former self in the tiniest bit. Even the small mole on her shoulder was missing.

Her tears are a bizarre blend of joy, sadness, self-pity, and mourning. She doesn't make any effort to wipe them away as they run down her face along her perfect cheekbones.

"I'm not me anymore." She says finally.

"Of course not." You say, very matter-of-factly. "Your past life is over. You are a new person with a new purpose." You hold up her driver license with a rather flattering photo of her former self. "Jenny Wells is dead. No one would ever believe that you used to be her."

You toss the ID to her feet and she states down at the old picture, fresh tears appearing. "She's dead. I know that... but I am her." She notices a hardening around your eyes and quickly corrects herself. "W-was her. If she is dead, who am I now?"

This is once again taking entirely too long. "You are my servant and nothing else. That's it. That is who and what you are."

The woman before you fully comprehends and comes to terms with her new life and role as your dedicated servant. She remembers her past life but compartmentalizes it completely, accessing those memories only as they are useful to a situation. They no longer hold any emotional leverage over or personal significance to her.

She suddenly looks much calmer, serene even. You can actually see her mind empty itself of all conflicts of identity crisis as she fully embraces her new existence. Free of the negative facial expressions, she is even more beautiful. "I see. Yes, that makes perfect sense. Do I have a name, My Lord? Do I even need one?"

You hadn't really thought about that...
