Aumriel Sylrell, The Pale Lady ( 2 ) ( Main Story )
'... Aumriel?... Where did I hear this name?...' Miraak thought seeing the Strange Elf.
After thinking for some time, he finally remembered.
'... Isn't she the weirdo that defended the Snow Elves by fighting Ysgramor and his army for decades?... Although she is 'Weak' right now... Looks like she will be a 'Master' level mage in the near future, huh...' He thought pondering on his plan.
'... I wanted to take my time practicing and training... Looks like I need to power up faster...' He continued pondering.
"Oh... Sorry. Sometimes, I leave this boring plane of existence to enter a new less boring place of existence." Aumriel said smiling at the group.
'... Aren't you just an airhead?' Miraak thought glaring weirdly at her.
Ignoring the weird gazes, she continued, "Anyway, I'm a knowledge seeker... So, please, can I ask some questions?"
"... You will need to question our Priest to know more. We can't disclose information without permission." Arnora said to Aumriel.
"... But, didn't I give you my information? Shouldn't it be a mutual exchange?" Aumriel said smiling.
"... Tch... Fine. We are Men warriors under the Dragon Priests, and we're from Atmora." Arnora responded.
'... Clever girl... She didn't disclose any vital information like who the Dragon Priests are or Where is Atmora...' Miraak said, almost applauding at Arnora.
Taking out the paper again, Aumriel started to write again.
"... Atmora?... Is it an Island?... Or a Continent?... Maybe a Cavern?..." Aumriel murmured to herself again.
As the group was rolling their eyes, Miraak was studying the paper in Aumriel's hands.
'It's... Enchanted?... This is...' He though seeing Magicka being transferred from the paper, through the quill and entering her hands, going to her brain.
'... It imprints the information you write directly on the brain, huh... Although it's a good idea... It's made without too much knowledge about souls... Every time she activates it, it damages a part of her soul... I don't want to imagine how much damage she already did...' He pondered looking at Aumriel like she was a moron.
With all the knowledge he took studying in Apocrypha, he would be considered the most knowledgeable person to ever exist.
"You fool... stop it," Miraak said seriously as he took the quill out of her hand.
"Ah..." Aumriel said seeing him taking it.
Whispering only to her, so his group doesn't hear him, "... Don't you feel the damn damage you're doing to yourself? It drains your soul to forcefully imprint knowledge... After everyone is asleep, we will talk."
The more Aumriel listened, the more she looked horrified. She almost destroyed the paper subconsciously.
As the group started to sleep, Aumriel left her tent and walked toward the waiting Miraak on the nearby rock.
"... Thank you... After I thoroughly inspected it, it really damages souls..." Aumriel said smiling at him.
"If I continued to use it..." She continued almost screaming in terror to the though.
After all, she would, literally, lose her soul.
"... But... How did you-" She said but stopped. After all, technically, they were still not allies.
Not enemies but still not allies.
"... Anyway, thank you." Aumriel said to Miraak.
"It's okay. After all, you showed me something very important." Miraak said to her.
'She showed me that this world is not exactly the same... I certainly remember that we didn't camp here and Aumriel should be in the Northwestern part of Skyrim... Not Northeastern... Minor changes... As if history was going towards a different path...' Miraak thought pondering.
'Is it because of me?... Did the Time Reverse shout cause some side-effects?... I'm not certain anymore... And this is making me... Such long lost feeling...'
'This is... Excitement...' Miraak though grinning like a **** addict that found his stock.

Arrogantly believing in himself, Miraak fell to the Last Dragonborn. Seeing his soul slowly but surely disappearing, in his opinion, to Akatosh's embrace, Miraak frowned more and more intensively. Feeling so close, he started to laugh. Looking at the Last Dragonborn and Hermaeus Mora, he smiled like a maniac. Putting all his remaining energy in his thu'um, he slowly opened his mouth. "Tiid Vo Nu!" Suddenly, all Aedra and Daedra felt an extremely strong destroying the Time-Space laws of Nirn. ( Fanfiction of Elder Scrolls. ) ( I'm the creator of the story.
