After several seconds, you realize you?re still screaming, which if nothing else, means you?re alive. Scared of seeing what?s out there, but scared more of not knowing, you finally open your eyes.

It?s beautiful. Stunning! At first, you forget that you?ve somehow just transported miles away from home, taken in by the gorgeous scenery about you. Rolling hills. Bubbling brooks. Full, lush trees. Birds are singing. The air smells fresh and invigorating. It?s as if you?ve jumped into a Willard Metcalf landscape.

Jerking you back to reality (or, whatever this is) is the sound of hooves thumping towards you. Looking up, you see what figures to be a knight galloping along a worn path in your direction. Appraising him as he approaches, you can?t help but notice how stunning his armor appears, as if it was made more for show than for defense. Pulling up along side you, the knight greets you warmly.

?Pardon, my lady,? the knight says with a smile. ?But you look lost. Am I correct?? Naturally, he has an English accent.

?Uhhh,? is all you can mutter.

?And what queer looking clothing you have,? he adds, with a touch of pity.

?I?m not sure where I?m lost from? you say, though soon regret. Looking down, you notice you?re wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants, and no footwear.

The knight looks at you peculiarly. ?Maybe you?ve done gone and bumped yourself in the head and you?re just dizzy. We should have you see the apothecary in town. There?s room on my steed here. Climb on up!? He smiles again while holding out his hand. Apothecary? You?re in a strange land already. The last thing you probably need is to run away with a guy three times as strong as you or take strange medicine from some whack pharmacist.

He notices your hesistation. ?Come,? he says. ?It isn?t safe for a pretty lass like yourself to be out here alone come dark, especially if you?re lost.?

You sense a genuineness in his voice. But still?
