Her coat had gotten caught in the doors

Rise felt the resistance immediately.... and especially the heart-stopping sensation of a breeze passing upward along her legs from the momentary gap in her coverage. She went from relieved to panicked in an instant, the pain of her foot forgotten. So much for sitting down... Rise kept close to the door and immediately retreated to stay by it. It would be fine, as long as she stayed close to the door until it opened again or she arrived. At least her disguise was still intact... not to mention her modesty.

The barefoot girl fidgeted, her stepped-on foot still stinging from that impact. That was bound to leave a mark... Rise was already feeling restless. Any attempt to free her coat from the solid doors felt impossible as the train rushed along.

She was going to have to wait. Without much of a choice, Rise leaned against the door, passively adjusting her glasses to keep her profile low and silently will her toes to stop aching. It wouldn't be long, the next stop was only two minutes away.
