Well That’s Lucky

I retrieved my laptop from under the bed and started it up whiling sitting at the kitchen table. Being an older model it took awhile. I then proceeded to look up the local laws on nudity.

To my shock, public nudity was legal and had been so for almost four months. A new state law was passed that basically made the whole of Florida clothing optional. Apparently the protesters I saw on the news only recently found out about it. What really got them going was the fact that local laws could not supersede the new state law, and the recent ruling from the state Supreme Court that upheld this.

"Wow, Lucky me."

Although the law is more complex than just being clothing optional. One needed to register to be eligible, and once done and approved, nudity is mandatory. Looking through the list of rights gave an inkling for the mandatory part.

Some of the nudists rights are as follows. No restaurant, store, or place of business may ban anyone because of nudity. A nudist may not be banned from any public property or area. Nudists may enter any state park, but not national parks, as they are federally owned. Public urination and defecation are legal for nudists. While all sex acts are still illegal, nudists may masterbate in public.

I can understand the urination and defecation part. Sometimes bodily fluids can leak, especially for the older population. And as for masterbation, I suppose there are those who can go off prematurely. Those two rights are probably reason for protests on their own. And I suppose they can't let people take advantage of loopholes in the nudist rights laws by just taking off their clothes and claiming they are a nudist.

I also looked at what is considered mandatory nudity. The only things a nudist can wear are belts less than two and a half inches, hats, and accessories such as purses and jewelry. No shirts, pants, dresses, underwear, socks, pantyhose, or anything that covers a person's modesty.

"Okay, how do I register"

In person? That may be a problem.

Wait, didn't that angel say something about documents? I quickly found my purse and searched for my wallet. My drivers license show my new current face and my new height, but that was it, even the back was the same. However there was also a new I.D. that was vertically aligned and read Nudist License with my entire naked body on display and my name at the bottom along with a string of numbers. "Wow, they really do look huge!" It was a five year license and from what I read on the website, the longest option. It was also on a nice lanyard so as help avoid a hassle. I would probably only wear it in the beginning.

I also checked how much money I had. Only 74 dollars and some change. "Sigh"

Today would have spent looking for a job, but the thought of working for others did not appeal to me at the moment. I had no idea at the moment how to make money, but decided not to worry.

Maybe I should go out and see what happens.
