An unfortunately familiar trio of girls who didn't like her

"What are _you _doing here?" Yuko asked. "I know you're not on the swim team, so you and your friends have no business being here right now!"

"Oh, we just heard all this commotion and decided to investigate. You can't imagine our surprise when we saw a team manager stomping around and yelling her head off, especially since practice was cancelled." the lead girl said with a smile Yuko found hard to interpret.

"Practice wasn't cancelled, what are you even talking about?" Yuko demanded. She really didn't have the time or patience to deal with this girl right now.

The girl simply smiled and nodded to her two friends. The duo slowly advanced on Yuko, one to either side of the confused team manager. "Well, _someone _let the swim team believe there wasn't any practice today. Apparently nobody bothered to tell you. That's quite unfortunate, don't you think? Why, I doubt anybody even knows you're here right now."

Yuko's temper shifted from angry to concerned. She'd been lured into a trap, and there was no telling what the three would do if she let them have their way! Yuko knew she was stronger than any of those girls on their own, but being outnumbered three-to-one...

"L-listen, you guys just leave and I'll forget this happened. I'll ignore your little stunt with getting this practice cancelled and won't report you to the faculty." Yuko offered.

"It's cute that you think you're in any position to be telling us what to do." the lead girl said, all pretense of kindness gone from her voice, replaced with a sharp edge. "No. You won't be reporting anything to the faculty. It'll be pretty difficult for you to do that after we're done with you."
