Chihiro bent over to bow, figuring a little bit of appreciation was a welcome development after this whole nightmarish debacle. Unfortunately for the shy treasurer, this small movement was enough to invite complete disaster. Chihiro felt a small slip, then the sudden whoosh of fabric sliding down her body. The sound of the tarp crumpling to the ground around Chihiro's ankles market the sudden silence of the crowd's applause. It wasn't hard to figure out what had caused the sudden awkward silence.
"Is that young woman-?"
"Whoa..."
"Holy crap! She's naked!"
"Wow. The school uniform really hides her figure."
These comments (among many others) quickly broke the silence as Chihiro found herself the center of attention. She was completely naked! This couldn't be real! She was about to wake up in her room, plastered in sweat but otherwise safe and sound, wearing her nightgown...
Any second now...
Nope. This was cold hard reality. These people were really looking at her, and it really was the middle of the day!
Chihiro had to run, now! With fear dictating her actions, Chihiro quickly sprinted away from the scene, her eyes tightly shut as she tried to block out her surroundings, her arms haphazardly covering her nude body. The fact that running away would only serve to put her in sight of more people didn't even occur to the panicking girl.
