A student took her glasses anyway.

Chihiro gasped as her vision suddenly went fuzzy, her glasses slipping off her face.

"H-hey!" Chihiro protested, whirling around to face the culprit.

"Sorry, Fushimi, had to be done. You'll get them back after the performance, I promise!" the responsible student said, though Chihiro couldn't tell who it was that spoke, the people in front of her looking like largely indistinguishable humanoid figures.

"I can't see anything!" Chihiro explained. "How am I even supposed to get to the stage?"

"Just follow us. One of us will lead you where you have to stand, okay? Just stand there and look pretty, and it'll all be over before you know it!" the same student said, turning Chihiro around and prodding her down the bus.

The nervous treasurer had **** but to let herself be led off the bus, back into the open air of the outdoor world. All around her, Chihiro could hear the sounds of people going about their business, announcements of incoming and outgoing trains over the loudspeakers, and the rush of train cars passing by at incredibly speeds. Even with her poor vision, Chihiro could see the stage she was being led toward, seeing that it was actually fairly close to the train platform proper. This was great! She could slip away and onto a train with little trouble!... if she had her glasses.

Chihiro would just have to bide her time. Grin and bear it throughout the performance, get her glasses back, and run like her life depended on it.

There was just one small issue with Chihiro's plan.
