Yukari makes it back home without a problem

Somehow, against all odds, Yukari found herself standing outside her dorm building, having made it all the way from the school without being caught. It was dangerously close on a few occasions, of course. Particularly when she was **** to hide underneath a bench as a group of students from her own school sat and talked for what felt like forever. Yukari also couldn't be sure whether or not that car horn she had heard a few streets back had been from a driver that had seen her or just normal traffic noise. In any case, she was home free. All she had to do was make it to her room and she could put the events of the day behind her. Tomorrow, well... she would cross that bridge when she got to it.

Opening the door, Yukari realized her big mistake. She hadn't considered the very real possibility of one of the other members of SEES loitering around the lobby. It wasn't as if such a thing was uncommon, as the alternatives in the evenings were fairly limited to their own rooms or the few places still open after sundown. While Yukari was lucky enough to have come in to find the lobby relatively empty, she wasn't lucky enough to find it completely empty.

"Yukari-chan! Oh my goodness, what happened to you?!" Minako Arisato, the SEES leader and Yukari's classmate gasped, running over to her friend with concern in her eyes. "Were you attacked, are you okay, did anyone hurt you?!"

For a moment, Yukari considered telling Minako all about what had happened with Kaya, about the competition and the video and the demands for tomorrow. But how could she tell her friend something so humiliating? And what would Kaya do if Minako decided to confront her about it? Would she release the video as punishment, would she somehow work this to her advantage? It was a scary possibility.

On the other hand, Minako was a stalwart friend, and she'd be willing to do just about anything to help a friend in need. Her help could be exactly what Yukari needed.
