Pair of panties

Yukari stared in disbelief at the now ruined pair of pink panties dangling off the fence. Her panties. As she had leapt over the fence, the thin material had gotten snagged in the mesh. But before Yukari had a chance to salvage the rest, the wind suddenly picked up, carrying the torn fabric out of reach and off the roof.

Cursing under her breath, she was startled back into her predicament by the sudden chill below. Blushing furiously, she hurriedly tugged her skirt down to cover herself, glancing around frantically to make sure that nobody else had seen her. With one hand covering her chest and another firmly holding the front of her skirt in place, she investigated the nearby maintenance hatch.

Searching for a handle, Yukari was relieved to find the maintenance hatch unlocked, and spared no time in throwing it open, entering it, and shutting the doors behind her. There was no main light switch, but some dim red emergency lighting provided enough illumination for Yukari to view her surroundings. The room she was in at the moment was pretty much completely empty. No maintenance consoles, lockers, toolboxes, or anything that one might have expected to find in a maintenance shaft. The only feature was a small hallway, barely tall enough for Yukari to walk through without crouching, that led off towards the center of the school. While this meant that there was nothing she could use for improvised coverage, Yukari nontheless felt some small comfort, as this meant that it would be likely that she wouldn't be running into any maintenance workers any time soon.

While her original plan was to wait it out for a few hours until the school day ended and then leave back through the roof to find some clothes she could use, she decided that another run-in with the fence was a bad idea. At least her skirt provided her with some modicum of decency. She couldn't risk losing that as well.

No, she was going to find out where this dark path would take her first, so that she would at least know her surroundings. Besides, it was possible that there could be a spare jacket or something down there, right?

Slowly, she crept along the path. While the darkness was comforting earlier, with each step those feelings changed to anxiety and fear. How far did this passage go? But before she could be lost in her worries, she suddenly came upon a door. Desperately cautious, she cracked open the door to be greeted by a bright light from the other side. She blinked from the sudden glare, looked around, found that it was clear of any people, and decided to investigate further.

On the other side, she found that she was on a metal walkway of sorts, the ceiling only slightly higher than that cramped hallway. She didn't get much time to stretch out though, as a sudden murmur of voices made her freeze in shock. What she didn't expect was that there were voices coming from... below her?

Finally she realized where she was, she was on a maintenance catwalk in the rafters of one of the buildings, and the voices below were belonging to students! Quickly, she peeked over the railing to confirm where exactly she was...
