Moist Monday

Morgan woke up when her phone alarm went off, and she turned it off. She then noticed an unpleasant sensation. Her crotch and thighs were wet. "The fuck?" she muttered as she threw her bedspread off. She had wet her bed. "Fucking kidding me?" She climbed out of bed. She had an hour before her first class of the day, week, and semester.

Morgan looked over at her roommate's bed. It was empty. She pulled her sheet and flat sheet off of her bed, and saw the wet spot on her mattress. She wondered what to do. She grabbed a bathrobe and tied it on. She hurried to the bathroom and grabbed a wash cloth, wet it, and a bar of soap. She went back to her room and wet the soap with the wash cloth then rubbed the wet spot on the mattress. After she was satisfied, she shoved the wet sheets under the bed and put the bedspread back on.

Morgan showered, fixed her hair, and make up, put on a tight pair of pre-distressed faded jeans with holes in the knees. She grabbed a bottle of water out of her mini-fridge, put it in her backpack side pocket, then went to the sorority house kitchen. The house cook, a fat, middle aged Latina woman had made scrambled egg whites, whole grain toast, and meat-free sausage patties. Morgan put a patty between two pieces of toast and got a to-go cup of coffee from the Keurig added low-fat milk and artificial sweetener. She then headed to class.

As Morgan made the short walk to campus, she became thirsty. She sipped the coffee, but it did not help much, so she stopped, took out her water and took a long drink. By the time she got to class, she had finished her coffee and half the water. She didn't think much about how much she had drank. She had also finished her sandwitch.

First hour was statistics 401. It was her worst class. She had a D+ average, and her professor Dr. Mililken was very dry and dull, especially for a 9 am class.
