Chapter 7 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

... But it did! What's Kawakami got to deal with next?

A new wardrobe malfunction forces Kawakami to change plans

Kawakami had quickly been **** to acknowledge that she was not in great running shape; she'd realized that early on. Still, as long as she still had power in her legs and righteous fury in her heart, she had resolved to catch up with the thief, recover the stolen load, and then give Ryuji a stern talking to. She was pushing the limits of what her body could handle, trying to keep pace with a kid who was both a track team member and a Phantom Thief.

Unfortunately, her own limits weren't the ones she should have been concerned about. After getting just a small distance into the alley, she heard a telltale snap from down below. The night had been breezy before, but this chill was new. As she skid to a stop in front of some dimly lit, shady establishment, she stared first down, then behind herself as the flapping apron obstructed her view. There was nothing obstructing the view from the back, not even her thong. It had fallen off. The tight band that had been pinching into the perfectly normal and reasonable for her age-- even cute!-- level of flab around her hips had broken, discarding the perverse leather garment somewhere in the alley's shadows. It couldn't handle the stress of this brisk sprint any better than she could.

The shadows here were working against her as hard as any shadows the Phantom Thieves had encountered. In her case, they were preventing her from retrieving and manually retying her garment. The teacher quickly tied her apron around her to stop its flapping around her now bare pussy, then covered her bottom with both hands... the thong hadn't offered a lot of coverage, but at least it was the kind of thing you could wear on television without censorship. There was no way to hide her butt now, other than to manually cover it with something.

It was probably time to admit defeat.

Giving up the chase, Kawakami nestled herself into the indent that the creepy business-front created in the alley's otherwise straight shot to the corner, intending to hide herself from the main street. This was one of those times where she was happy that putting her hair in pigtails made her identity pretty hard to discern... Otherwise, her teaching career would be over! If the papers or TV news caught wind of a streaking teacher running around town, there'd be no way for her to keep her job.

She couldn't go back the way she came so easily... People would be watching for her now, hoping to get a second glimpse or better yet, a look at those Phantom Thieves somebody had mentioned. "Darn... Darn darn daaaarn!" she complained, pounding her fists on the wall behind herself.

The bad situation became even worse as she heard movement inside the creepy establishment. Kawakami covered her mouth with both hands and watched the door nervously, like a victim in a horror movie trying to hide her breathing. The feeling of the cold concrete against her bare bottom was worse than anything, but she flattened her profile as much as possible into the shadowy corner of that alcove.

The door creaked slowly open...

Who does Kawakami see peeking out from inside?
