Exploration and a Discovery

Jacob always relished when Jessica took the lead he knew he was in safe hands (relatively speaking), he smiled and sighed "you know this is one of the handful of times you know where we're heading and i don't you know that right." he said which jessica smiled at him "of course I've been here a year and i didn't spend _all _that time on boys so where do you wanna go?" she asked to wit Jacob raised his hand to reveal Lucifer "owlery first this one is hurting my hand and arm." he said then Jessica blinked twice as if just now realizing he had his other hand full "OH MY GOD" she shrieked causing a few passing students in the hallway and Lucifer to hoot "he's so cute" she said trying to pet Lucifer but receiving pecks for her trouble. Jessica pulled her hand back to glare at Jacob who was chuckling "sorry sis he's only imprinted on me so far and that took some work on the train ride over." he said smirking but Jessica rolled her eyes "fine Owlery it is" she said. Jessica had led Jacob over to the courtyard "ok we need to go up there" she said pointing to a stone staircase just inside the gate to the courtyard "then just a little farther straight and up a nice sized flight of stairs then we're there" she said starting to go up the stairs when something caught Jacobs' attention "here i'll be right there" he said handing her Lucifer and heading out to the courtyard where something was sparkling.

Jacob bent down to pick the something up it was under a bench "huh someone must've lost it" he said pulling what seemed to him an ordinary pocket watch "hm one of the first years will be missing this" he said but then he felt...something else from it that sent a chill down his spine it was like he could sense the magical energy around it and it was somehow twisted in on itself, Jacob shook his head and chuckled at the idea that he could sense magic "magic doesn't work like that" he mumbled which reminded him of an idea he had before. Jacob sat down on the bench and took out his journal from an inside pocket and opened it to an empty page at the head he wrote MAGICAL TATTOO'S and expanded on it "sure **** eaters and the like have enchanted tattoo's but talking about the common wizard they have to go to a no-maj tattoo artist and chance enchanting it themselves, what about having a special ink" he quickly wrote down what he would need for an experiment and all the possible ingredients for magical tattoo ink he then idly wondered if he could enchant different tattoo's to evoke different emotion's or hide the wearer "that wouldn't be to different than a permanent invisibility cloak" he mumbled as he got up putting his journal back where it was and looked at the pocket watch again.

Jacob could tell something was off about this pocket watch but since it was only his first day he couldn't tell what it was but shook his head "just gotta get it to lost and found" he said and shrugged making his way back to his sister and was greeted by a surprise as he got to the top of the stairs his sister actually kissing someone which floored him because as long as Jacob had known jessica he would use the term complicated to describe her she was atleast as smart as him if not smarter but she was loose, she also had morals and rules and one of the rules was no kissing period "so he's special" he mumbled and smirked managing to sneak up on both of them in their intense make out session luckily Lucifer was set on the ground. Jacob smirked as he cleared his throat loudly then said "i don't know about you two but im enjoying the show" this caused Jessica to jump back like the guy she was kissing on was suddenly on fire which looking at the guys face he might as well have been.

Jessica nervously chuckled "h-hey bro" she said her voice cracking and for the second time Jacob was floored, his sister the one who encouraged his looseness with women was actually blushing realizing what he had on her he smirked wide and some would say evilly "hey sis" he said coolly "wanna introduce us" he said but looking back the guy had already disappeared "aw drat now i won't be able to pick on him.....for now" Jacob said, Jessica quickly wiped her mouth making sure no remnants remained.

Jessica stammered "y-you wont tell will you" Jacob looked at his sister in a new light and sighed deeply "if that's what you want" he said and when Jessica went to hug him he held he hand out to stop her "but you'll help me on my latest experiment in exchange" he said with finality, Jessica looked up at him with puppy dog eyes knowing how messed up his experiments could get but acquiesce when she heard his tone "fine" then they went to the owlery and Jessica showed Jacob around all the major hotspots.
