Of course she does.

Without a moment of hesitation Olivia clicked to apply, sending in all the needed info, which was surprisingly little and got ready for an interview.

Two days later they got back to her and arranged a meeting on a quiet day, though the woman on the phone had said that all days tended to be quiet around there...Olivia didn't complain of course, that sounded like a perk to her.

And so Olivia set off, getting dressed in a white shirt and cargo shorts, 'forgetting' her underwear of course. She was thankful that the place was close enough to home, just a couple of hours walk, though most of that was through woodland paths...some she figured that she'd be looking after in a few hours.

Soon enough, the warden headquarters...well...cabin came into view. It wasn't that large, easily a one to two person outpost at most, looking something like a log maintenance shed than anything, it seemed kinda cosy though.

Olivia went to the front door and knocked twice, waiting patiently before a blonde woman in her mid twenties opened the door.

"Oh you must be here for the warden position, Olivia right?" The woman asked, extending a hand.

Olivia managed to get a better look at her as she shook her hand, she clearly wasn't dressed in outdoorsy clothing, not a coworker then, hopefully just her boss that she never sees.

"Yeah, I'm Olivia. I just, saw the ad and thought what the perfect position was, it's a shame these woods aren't getting the attention they deserve..." She wasn't exactly lying, but she didn't care about these woods as much as she was presenting.

"Oh I know! The nature areas in the north and the east, they get all the attention...well, either way, keeps this place that much more wild, you get some breathtaking views out here" The blonde said, with a genuine smile.

Olivia smiled back uncertainly "So...wh-where do I start?"

Her maybe-boss chuckled and facepalmed "Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself again, we just don't get many eager hires here. Anyway. Your uniform is in your locker, it has a padlock with a 25 digit code, uh...it was a mistake buy, one of the old employees thought it was a 4 digit one, the code is on a note taped to the locker though"

"Yeah, common mistake..." Olivia chuckled, before thinking to herself 'fancy padlock huh? that'll probably be useful...'

"...your patrol routes are marked on the map, you don't need to do them in a particular order, just make sure you get them all done in a day, I'd space them out, give your legs a rest. Most of the other tasks are just maintaining public facilities like trash bins, and making sure the paths are cleared in general...it's simple work but it needs to be done y'know?"

"Oh, I know..." The brunette said with a nod. As if that was enough for the lady she ducked out of the way.

"Well then, I'll leave you to it, radio in if you need any more advice...and as far as the cabin goes, treat it like home, but be restpectful, try not to steal any of the pens"

"I'll try not to..."

And then Olivia was alone again, with an entire forest as her sandbox...and she was getting paid for it...
