Two More Teammates

Carol has half a mind to jump into the bushes as the excitement she had been feeling turned towards fear. The two dark figures up ahead had to have seen her already but definitely not enough to have identified her. Erica seemed to be of a similar mind.

“Should we hide?” She asked as the group continued to jog towards the figures who were becoming more defined with each bound closer.

“I think that’s Tianna and Aubrey...” Ashley spoke up.

Sure enough two of your upperclassmen teammates were standing ahead of you arms folded across their chests beaming at your misfortune.

“Well well well, what do we have here?” Came Tianna the tall, dark, and curvy Right Fielders voice.

“One Article of clothing for each girl going past.” Aubrey said matter of factly.

“Article of clothing? But I’m already fucking naked!” Carol incredulously interjected.

“Then one of your teammates will have to bite the bullet for you or you’ll have to go the long way. But if all of you want to pass we need 4 articles of clothing.”

“Four? But there are 5 of us?” Erica asked. The group looked around suddenly realizing that Cheri was no longer with them.

“I thought it was odd that you left one person behind.” Began Aubrey “but every class as their own strategy.”

Carol felt guilty for not having more concern for her lost teammates wearabouts. “Guys I’m fucking naked here and time is ticking. I don’t love just standing here in the open. So can we just get this over with?”

The group was spurned on by these words and there was a brief and quick discussion about how to pay the toll.

“I’ve only got three things on.” Ashley explained.

“I’d really love to keep my underwear on if at all possible.” Erica pleaded.

Megan surveyed the other girls for a minute. “You alright in just your underwear Ash? That way you can cover yourself and Erica and be even. I can cover myself and Carol.
