You wake up

Well of course you do. This would be a pretty sad story if you didn't. Mercedes is dressing up, so you gaze away. It wouldn't do you no good to get expelled the first day for sexual harassment. "Oh! Good morning! Wait for a second, please" She says. After a few seconds, she tells you she has dressed up already. "Now it's your turn. Do you need help with your uniform?" You blush. You don't really need help, but she won't take no for an answer. You take out your old tunic, and feel her gaze upon your body. "You look really nice..." She says with a slight blush. "Oh! I-I'm sorry" She gazes away and helps you put on your uniform. It's a perfect fit. You put your potion in the belt, along the dagger included with the suit. She giggles "You're looking great in the uniform! Now, you should go to the training grounds. The professor should be there. Once you finish with that, why don't we eat lunch together? I'd like to know what's your potential!" You tell her that you'll meet her at the Dining Hall and go on your way. That was weird... Does she really think you're nice looking? It does bring a smile to your face, even though I don't understand if she's blind or what. Oh, relax, I'm just messing with you.

Anyway, you enter the training grounds. The Professor is here, with two boxes full of stuff: One is filled with wooden weapons, the other is filled with... Crests? They're like medals, but they have crest simbols in them. He sees you and takes a Practice Sword, giving it to you, taking a Spear himself. Even without talking, you know what he wants. You attack him, and he parries your attack effortlessly. Could have been worse... As you were about to demonstrate. He then gives you a Spear, which you actually pick from the pointy part - Not your finest moment - And an Axe, with which you harm your knee. I´m not really sure how that happened. He heals you, then gives you a bow and arrow. You shoot at the nearest target. Somehow, the arrow breaks after you shoot it. He then punches you - As a brawling training, of course. Probably. It still hurts, and you couldn't even punch back with enough power as to shoo a bug.

The Professor seems dissapointed, but gives you three books: The Book of Seiros, a Grimoire, and the Hresvelg Treatise on War. Once you touch them, you feel magical prowess through your veins. They seem to give faux magical potential, for training. You pick up the Book of Seiros and try to cast a healing spell. You swear you can hear Sothis inside the professor, shouting at you, so you stop. You then pick the Grimoire and try to cast Fire. You get a burn in your pinky finger. The professor seems incredibly dissapointed. You don't see the point anymore if you just can't fight anyway, but you take the Treatise, and try to shout some order. But then, a miracle happens. Your voice feels powerful, energetic. Suddenly, a group of Wyvern Raiders wielding bows appear - Are these the Immortal Corps? The professor seems awed. One of the Immortals asks "Did someone summon us? No? I'd swear we had to come here for some reason..." Then, they go away. The Professor is writing away, with more emotion on his face than you had seen so far. He then bows to you and goes away, not saying a single word. What just happened, exactly?
