Elizabeth is happy, her new condition has made her life so much easier. Apparently, the selection of the candidates was not done entirely based on competence and experience. Good looks seemingly had a large weight on the balance for the pre selection of the candidates. Elizabeth sneaks a complicit smile to Gina as they enter the interview room. Waiting for them inside is the new official head of HR, Mr. Goodis. He is not a thrall but a willing watcher. “Let’s not lose our time, we have a lot of candidates to interview,” he says with an evil smile to his eager colleagues.

He walks to the door and summons the first candidate. Introductions are made, the candidate seats on one side of the small table while the interviewers seat on the other side.

“Good morning Miss, thank you for coming this morning, we will start with a few standard medical questions. Do you suffer from any of the following pathologies: Anemia, diabetes, hemophilia or any other blood related illnesses?”

Mina, the first candidate, is a bit taken aback by the questions, but she needs the job so she answers:

“No, not that I am aware of.”

“Good, next round of questions: 1. Are you a. Heterosexual? b. Homosexual? c. Bisexual? d. Pansexual? e. Other, if so please specify. 2. Do you consider yourself a sexually active person? 3. How many different partners did you have over the last six month? 4. How would you describe your masturbation habits? 5. How often would you say you masturbate? a. Less than once a week? b. Between one and three times every week? c. Once a day? d. More than that?” An evil light appears in Mr Goodis eyes. “6. Did you have sex or masturbated in the last 48 hours?”

Now, to be perfectly honest, when I received the new standardized interview forms, I was a bit surprised myself but then I asked some questions around and it all made sense. Destabilized by the speech, Mina answers the questions.

The interview continues painfully for ten more awkward minutes.
