Financial Trouble

Doomfist and Widowmaker sat in a conference room at two opposite sides of the wide Table, both were looking through some datapads and Widowmaker sighed and finally put hers down looking at Doomfist.

“With all the restructuring we did lately, Talon is running low on funds.”

“Yes, it’s getting really rough if it keeps going like that, it would be really shameful to go bankrupt.” Doomfist looked up from her datapad, mid taking a note.

Widowmaker raised her head and looked at the ceiling, the new emotional spectrum made thinking a bit harder but also unlocked more avenues for her thought to wander that were harder to breach as her previous self.

This time Doomfist was the one to break the silence. “I assume you have a plan?”

“Kind of… I think we could use her to get some more money, I mean darling would want her to join us eventually anyway, no?” She slid a datapad showing the picture of the person she had in mind towards doomfist

Doomfists eyes narrowed and she smiled. “Hmpf! If I thought that you would be this effective, I would recommend trying to make you that way myself!”

Widowmaker rolled her eyes and tapped her foot for a moment. “Thanks but I think I’d rather be my Darling’s not previous your’s” She glared at Doomfist for a moment and inhaled, repeating in her head ‘no infighting, darling asked me not to hurt other girls, no fighting’.

“Anyway, I will be on my way to request some resources and consult the matter with the master.”

Bob felt a cold shudder go over his spine before he heard Widowmaker’s voice from the doorway to his office. “Oh daaaarliiing…” He looked up from his work, he was figuring out the same problem that Widowmaker and Doomfist were, he was still at a dead end and.

“What do you want Amelie?”

“Well…” She smiled at him both as a way of pushing her point before making it and because he called her by her name. “...I would like to ask for some resources.”

“I mean, we are kind of short on money right now, can this wait…?” He asked with an apologetic smile.

“But that's the point, consider it an investment that will be quick to return itself?”

“Oh? And what would that be?

“That’s a surprise, I am not asking for more than a recording, the pen and an international flight… And maybe some small funds but I doubt I’ll need them!”

“Amelie…”

“Yes dear?”

“Will that include shootouts?”

“Highly unlikely.”

“Are you going after a civilian?”

“Not really.”

“Good, fine. You can have it, but keep a low profile…”

“Thanks dear, I won’t disappoint!” She jumped to hug Bob and pressed her chest against his.

Bob handed Widowmaker the passes he could now and asked her for the recording script, even from it he couldn’t really deduct the target beside the fact that Amelie may be onto something with her plan!
