Every strike was reduced by half again of what it was originally doing in damage to its health. However, the most bizarre thing occurred when it reached zero. The skeleton golem stopped chasing him for a moment as its core fell down to the ground, rolling several feet away from it. After several seconds, its core arose from the ground while glowing ominously. He used Observe on it just as it started to pull in energy from the air. Meanwhile, a thin green layer of gel coated its surface, likely to protect it.

Angelo blinked twice as he saw the core's health slowly rising, but the clattering of bones drew his attention back to the skeleton golem as it resumed moving, but this time it was running at him at a much greater speed. While Angelo focused on avoiding the skeleton golem's attacks a thought occurred to him. 'Wait a sec. If that core's health and mana bar are what I believe them to be, a reflection of the golem's. To his surprise he met little to no resistance, his downward pointed blades sliced through the bone for double its normal damage, dropping both the golem's health and the core's mana bar at the same time by the exact same amount. 91.35 + 20% = 110 (109.62), 110 x 2 = 220 damage, 86.1 + 20% = 103 (103.32), 103 x 2 = 206 damage

Angelo yelled out to Lena while dodging another three attacks in a row from the golem. "Lena, don't waste your effort. When this golem stop's moving. I want you to attack the core. Got it?" She nodded, watching him carefully and gasped when the golem stopped, and dropped down to a squatting position, it spun the upper half of its body quickly, hitting him twice in a row. 35 - 10% = 32 (31.5), 32 x 2 = - 64 Hp Upon falling backwards, he successfully tumbled, rolling back onto his feet. He charged at the golem, slicing its spine with both of his weapons as he dashed through. Seconds after that strike, the golem fell into pieces, but strangely enough, it didn't give any loot or experience, proving that it had not been defeated yet.

Both Angelo and Lena noticed the green gel surrounding the core dripped from its surface, but as it did, its health started to rise rapidly. Her score ticked up to 115. At that moment, his quest turned itself in and Lena, gained another two levels, increasing it from 6 to 8. Upon the golem's defeat his quest turned itself in.

As Angelo watched Lena's flustered reactions with a curious smile and thought. 'Was Lena always this sexy and adorable?' She was quite happy and excited, it was really adorable.
