A Bomb Threat

To put her own stamp on the world and distance herself from Superman’s rather large shadow Kara has started to act as National City’s resident hero. National City has welcomed the new heroine with open arms, and for a few months now the 18 year old kryptonian has been very successful in this new city.

She has been trying to get a better suit made for a while now, and especially now that she is trying to become a bigger hero, but for now she is still wearing the same white crop top tee and blue miniskirt she has been since she started out as Supergirl when she was sixteen.

The young heroine was flying above National City when she saw a police car with its sirens blaring driving quickly down a street below her. She listened the sound of other sirens then flew to the ultimate location of that first car she had noticed. Hovering over the seven or so NPD vehicles Kara speaks to the chief of police, who informs her about the bomb threat. They aren’t sure how big the bomb is, but they were able to evacuate the building.

“Your men aren’t indestructible, I am” Kara tells the chief, “send me in there. I can deactivate the bomb with out having to worry about any casualties.” The chief agrees, and after the bomb squad gives Kara a small earpiece to be able to communicate to them she flies into the building and toward the bomb.
