Xander Tests His Powers

Xander was walking back from the Bronze, however as he knew the town he was always on the lookout. Yet he never saw this creature coming. It was on him before he knew it, and gone just as fast.

Xander didn't really know how to describe the feeling, not pleasurable, not unpleasant, certainly unusual, but now he felt great. He quickly realized what that creature did, changing him into part demon and granting him these powers. He knew this wasn't right, but it seemed like his dream was fulfilled.

He was still in control but knew that he needed to at least pay partial heed to the creature that made him like this. So first thing to do was give his new self a test run. He knew there was danger, but he couldn't resist.

But were to go first? He didn't want to take on anything to risky, yet he knew that his powers might only come out under a challenge.

He looked around. He noticed a group of girls walking by, they might be a good unsuspecting first target. Or, maybe a crowd would be better, he could still head back to the Bronze.

He turned around, the Sunnydale cemetary was not far, and with his heightened senses he could tell that a female vampire was looking for prey. Maybe he could give himself a test run and do a good deed.

Or he could just keep heading the way he had been going, back to his friends' houses, maybe a little familiarity would be nice.
