"C...C....Chloe and her brother were she was they." I stumble to find the right words I can't see past the tears in my eyes I've since collapsed into my cousins arms clambering onto anything I can.

"Shh it's ok Kyle I'm here for you everything is going to be ok now that you're with your cousin." Her voice is oddly soothing almost motherly she supports my weight hugging me tightly everything is so much better now.

"How could she!?!" I wail in defiant anger hugging Athena tighter.

"Love works different for different people Chloe and her brother have a special kind of relationship it makes them happy who are we to judge what makes them happy." Athena says this with such conviction that I almost believe her but **** and heroin shouldn't be what makes you happy your boyfriend who dropped his entire city life to be with you should make you happy.

"How long has she been cheating on me for him?" I ask trying to form a timeline not expecting any answers.

"I tried to warn you Cuz she has a reputation I didn't want you to get hurt I'll never hurt you I know what it's like to be cheated on we'll get through this together you can trust me you can always trust family." she says in the same soothing voice rubbing my back

"How?? How can I ever move past this how could I ever trust romantically again." I say trying to wipe the tears from my eyes.

Lowering me to the ground Athena straddles me and whisper's in my ear.
