Morning Park Date

The next morning, you blink your eyes to find Adela still sleeping next to you. You decide to run your hand through her hair, and then kiss her forehead, causing her to awaken.

"Didn't mean to wake you." You whisper.

"It's okay. I mean I'm waking to you, so..."

You smile upon receiving her compliment and continue to run your hand through her hair. "Excited for today?"

She nods. "Sure am."

"Anything you wanna do this morning?"

"I dunno. Maybe we could take it easy and go to the park?"

"Sounds good to me."

You proceed to sit up and get out of bed.

"Maybe we could feed the ducks?"

"Sounds like a plan."

Both you and Adela get ready for your day out, and you make sure to pack the rope and the book you'd bought yesterday. At the park, you both stroll towards the pond, where Adela begins to feed her faithful flock.

"So uhh, you got any plans next week?" You ask.

"Actually, I'm gonna do a photoshoot next weekend for work."

"Oh. That should be fun."

"Should be. What about you?"

"Well, like always I was planning on spending time with you."

"There should be time. It won't take the whole weekend."

"Yeah... Plus we've got the rest of the week."

"We sure do."

Once done feeding the ducks, the two of you feed yourselves at Paco's Tacos. Now full, you decide to hail an Uber, which takes you to Charlie's place. It's certainly in a nicer part of town, one you envy. His house is a boxy piece of modern architecture, with two stories and window walls. Charlie stands on the balcony and greets you with a wave. Both you and Adela wave back before the gate in front of you slides open.
