Settling in

I moved out of the city and into the country it took a while but I think I'm finally settled. When school starts in two weeks I'll start taking online classes Athena has been really active in helping me move in we've been spending a lot of time together lately. Wendy and me hang out a lot but she refuses to go by the house apparently you can't **** girls to be friends.

Athena's been dressing more conservatively ever since her parents came back nice to see she actually has some sense. That being said her parents are going to be leaving again soon and for an even longer period of time.

One day Wendy shows up to the house she's crying and swearing makeup flowing down her face.

"What's going on" I say storming outside to console her.

"My fucking family...... I can't be there right now" she starts crying again.

"I understand..... I understand". I start stroking her back and lead her inside and up to my room. I didn't know exactly what happened between her and her family and I wasn't going to get answers anytime soon. But I do know what it's like to have shitty family.

We fell asleep in each other's arms.
